The timeline of the tragedy is harrowing. According to a spokesperson for the San Francisco Fire Department, dispatchers received a call for a “medical emergency” at the hotel at 2:52 a.m. on January 1.
Paramedics arrived within minutes to find an adult female unresponsive. Despite life-saving efforts and CPR administered at the scene, she was pronounced dead shortly after 3 a.m.
