Donald Trump set off a wave of online confusion after posting a Truth Social message about a “great daughter” alongside a photo of a blonde woman who did not appear to be Ivanka Trump or Tiffany Trump.
The post read, “Great daughter. My Honor!!! President DJT.” The image showed a blonde woman dressed in black, sitting on a red sofa and speaking on a corded phone.
Trump shared the post Saturday night ahead of Father’s Day, and the lack of context quickly turned the image into a social-media guessing game.
The woman in the photo has been widely identified in recent reports as Margo Catsimatidis, wife of New York businessman and Trump ally John Catsimatidis, but Trump had not publicly explained the post or the caption as of the latest reports.
The Post Showed a Blonde Woman on a Red Sofa

The image circulating from Trump’s Truth Social account showed the woman seated indoors on a red sofa, holding a phone. The caption did not name her or explain whether Trump was referring to the woman in the photo, someone connected to her, or another person entirely.
People reported that the woman did not appear to be either of Trump’s daughters, Ivanka or Tiffany. The Independent also reported that online users began trying to identify the woman and the setting soon after the post appeared.
Reports Pointed to Margo Catsimatidis
The strongest identification to emerge was Margo Catsimatidis. The New York Post reported that the photo showed Margo in an older image, possibly from the 1990s or early 2000s.
Margo is married to John Catsimatidis, the billionaire businessman behind Gristedes and Red Apple Group, and the Catsimatidis family has longstanding ties to Trump. Their daughter, Andrea Catsimatidis, has served as chairwoman of the Manhattan Republican Party and is a public Trump supporter.
That family connection fueled one of the main theories around the caption: Trump may have been praising Andrea Catsimatidis while posting an older photo of her mother. That explanation has not been confirmed by Trump, his campaign or the White House.
The Camp David Theory Added Another Clue
Several reports noted that online users focused on the setting of the photo, including patriotic décor and what appeared to be an official-looking phone setup. The New York Post reported that the image is thought to show Margo during a visit to Camp David during the Clinton administration.
The Times reported that the photo appeared to include the Arkansas state seal, which helped push the Camp David theory because Bill Clinton was president at the time the older image may have been taken.
