Victoria Beckham included Brooklyn Beckham in a Father’s Day tribute to David Beckham after months of public tension around the family.

The fashion designer shared an Instagram post on Sunday, June 21, showing David with all four of the couple’s children: Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.

The Irish News, citing the Press Association, reported that the first image showed David smiling in the sea with his children, while a second photo showed him smiling with a glass of wine.

Victoria wrote that David was “the best daddy” and said his “greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children.” Brooklyn’s inclusion stood out because the oldest Beckham child has been publicly distant from his parents since making claims about the family earlier this year.

The Standard reported that Brooklyn had not posted his own Father’s Day message at the time of publication. Cruz shared a photo of himself and David holding fish, while Romeo posted two childhood photos with his father.

The post arrived after David and Victoria have been seen at several public family events without Brooklyn. He also did not appear with the family at David’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony earlier this month, according to People.

Brooklyn’s January Posts Put the Rift in Public View

Brooklyn’s relationship with his parents became a public story in January, when he made a series of claims on Instagram Stories about David, Victoria and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.

People reported that Brooklyn accused his parents of trying to sabotage his relationship with Nicola and spreading “countless lies.” Among the claims, he said his parents had been trying “endlessly to ruin” his relationship before his wedding and accused them of putting “public promotion and endorsements” above family.

Victoria later addressed the situation in an interview with WSJ. Magazine without naming Brooklyn directly. “We love our children so much,” she said, according to People. “We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be.”

She added that she and David have spent more than 30 years in the public eye and have tried to protect and love their children.

Brooklyn recently appeared in a World Cup-themed DoorDash campaign that was widely read as a nod to the family drama.

In the ad, he says, “You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the Fifa World Cup 2026 from home,” before adding, “It’s not like I don’t have tickets. Um… it’s because… it’s a long story,” according to BreakingNews.ie.

He then hands the tickets to a delivery driver and says, “These can go to someone… else,” before telling the driver to put them “somewhere fun.” Brooklyn also told followers on Instagram to follow DoorDash’s account for clues about where the tickets had been left.

Brooklyn married Nicola, the daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz, in 2022. .
