Amber Mozo walked away from Let’s Marry Harry as Harry Jowsey’s bride, but she says the relationship she experienced after filming looked very different from the wedding viewers eventually saw on Netflix.

In a new interview with PEOPLE, the Hawaii-based travel photographer said she felt “completely disposed of” after their relationship unraveled. The interview followed the Aug. 26 reunion, where the pair confirmed they had split in January 2026, roughly two months after filming their televised ceremony.

Mozo has made serious allegations about Jowsey’s behavior, accusing him at the reunion of gaslighting, manipulation and emotional abuse. Jowsey gave a different account, saying the two did not “see eye to eye” and describing the difficulty of developing a new relationship while keeping their marriage hidden before the series aired.

After trips to Hawaii and Australia and a short period apart, Mozo says Jowsey told her he wanted them to move in together. They were discussing a February move before the relationship ended.

Mozo Says She Wanted to Feel ‘Considered’ in the Marriage

Mozo told PEOPLE that problems became clearer once she and Jowsey returned to everyday life. “We went back into the real world, and there were just things that I was not okay with,” she said, adding that she wanted to feel “considered” by the person she had just married on television.

One point of conflict came during their time in Australia. Mozo alleged at the reunion that Jowsey prioritized filming content with another female influencer instead of spending time with her. Jowsey said he was trying to protect the show’s ending because he and Mozo had been instructed to keep their relationship out of public view.

After Australia, the pair took some space. Jowsey characterized that period as their breakup, while Mozo said they remained in contact and that he subsequently told her he wanted them to live together. According to PEOPLE, they were planning for Mozo to move in during February before the relationship ended.

Mozo said that sequence left her confused by Jowsey’s later version of events. She told PEOPLE that being ghosted made her feel “completely disposed of” and said she believed he had promised her a future before abruptly taking it away.

The Reunion Was Their First Meeting Since the January Split

Mozo said the reunion was the first time she had seen Jowsey since their January breakup. Entering the studio felt “a little triggering,” she told PEOPLE, particularly after processing the split privately while knowing that viewers would eventually watch their wedding without knowing how the relationship ended.

During the reunion, Mozo accused Jowsey of being dismissive about the breakup and alleged that he had “gaslit, manipulated and emotionally abused” her. Jowsey said the relationship had been “special and meaningful,” but argued that life outside the controlled setting of the show created problems, including being unable to behave publicly like a normal newly married couple.

Entertainment Weekly reported that Jowsey acknowledged the situation had been unfair to both Mozo and runner-up Dannelle Davidson. At one point during the reunion, he told the two women, “I apologize.” The final exchange was much sharper. Netflix’s Tudum recap says Mozo threw her wedding ring toward Jowsey as she left and told him, “This ends here.” Jowsey responded that he wanted nothing further to do with her.

Mozo and Davidson Dispute When Jowsey Reconnected With Her

Davidson was the other finalist before Jowsey chose Mozo at the altar. At the reunion, Davidson revealed that she remained in contact with Jowsey after filming and that he later reached out in January saying he was single and wanted to reconnect.

Davidson said Jowsey flew her to Los Angeles, where they spent two days together, became physical and exchanged “I love yous.” She said he then pulled back as he drove her to the airport and later told her he was not ready for a girlfriend.

Davidson says Jowsey told her his relationship with Mozo had ended, and Jowsey maintains that he and Mozo had already broken up. Mozo says they were still together and in contact when Jowsey reconnected with Davidson.

Mozo initially directed some of her anger toward Davidson during the reunion, calling her a “home-wrecker,” but ultimately said Jowsey bore more responsibility. “This man played us both,” she told Davidson. Davidson, for her part, said she believed Jowsey when he told her he was single.

Mozo Says She Hasn’t Dated Since the Split

Mozo told PEOPLE that remaining silent about the breakup while Let’s Marry Harry aired made the experience harder. Viewers were watching the relationship unfold and speculating about its outcome while she was unable to publicly explain what had happened.

She said she has not dated anyone since the split, partly because she needed time to process what happened and partly because she wanted to respect the secrecy surrounding the show. Despite the experience, Mozo said she does not regret participating and does not want it to leave her cynical about future relationships.

TMZ reported before the reunion that the pair intentionally did not make the marriage legally binding because public marriage records could have spoiled the finale. Neither Jowsey nor Mozo directly resolved that issue during the reunion.

Jowsey has moved on to another relationship. Netflix says he declined to identify his current girlfriend during the reunion but described what they have as “the most amazing relationship” and said he feels fortunate to have her in his life.

Mozo alleged at the reunion that Jowsey first met his current girlfriend, an influencer, during their trip to Australia. Jowsey disputed Mozo’s version of the timeline and said his relationship with Mozo had already ended before he moved forward elsewhere.

Despite the failed Let’s Marry Harry relationship, Jowsey told Netflix that he has not abandoned the idea of marriage. “I don’t want to get ahead of myself,” he said, “but I found the perfect person that makes me want to be a husband.”
