Anthony Kiedis and Eileen Kelly are continuing to put their relationship on public display months after Kelly addressed the scrutiny that comes with dating a man more than twice her age.

The 63-year-old Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman and 30-year-old Vogue writer stepped out for dinner at E Baldi in Beverly Hills on August 21. Photos published by Just Jared show the couple sharing a kiss outside the restaurant before leaving together.

Kiedis and Kelly put on helmets before getting onto his motorcycle, adding another public outing to a relationship that has drawn attention because of their 33-year age difference. Kelly addressed age-gap dating directly in April when she published a personal Vogue essay about being with a man more than twice her age.

Although Kelly did not identify Kiedis by name in the essay, the pair had already been photographed together repeatedly by then. PEOPLE reported that they had been seen together on multiple occasions beginning in November 2025, including during awards season in Los Angeles.

Kiedis and Kelly were photographed leaving E Baldi after their Friday night dinner, stopping near his motorcycle as they prepared to head out. The images show the pair kissing and talking together before putting on their helmets.

The Beverly Hills date follows a series of increasingly public appearances over the past year. They have been photographed holding hands in Los Angeles, attending events together and appearing side by side during awards season.

Kelly Said Their Age Difference Did Not Register at First

In her April 21 Vogue essay, Kelly wrote that she met her boyfriend at a birthday party after returning from a solo trip to Hawaii. During their first conversation, she learned that he had owned a home for more than 20 years in the same small Hawaiian town she had been visiting for years.

Kelly said “the age gap didn’t register at first.” She was interested in him but initially thought they might simply become friends before they exchanged numbers and made plans to meet for coffee.

She described the relationship as her first with someone “significantly older” and acknowledged that her boyfriend being more than twice her age could appear “alarming or impressive, depending on who you ask.” Her own experience, she argued, felt far less dramatic than the assumptions people attached to it.

She Has Heard Uncomfortable Assumptions About Their Relationship

Kelly acknowledged that major differences in money, emotional stability or life experience can create unhealthy power imbalances, but said she entered her own relationship from a position of independence. “I have my own money, my own career, and I have my own home,” she wrote, explaining that ending the relationship would not leave her financially dependent or without stability.

Kelly also described the unsolicited reactions the couple receives in public. She said people have assumed her boyfriend is her father, creating what she called “incredibly awkward moments,” while some friends have reacted negatively to the relationship after learning about the age difference.

Kiedis and Kelly Have Been Seen Together Since 2025

Kelly and Kiedis were already appearing together publicly well before the Vogue essay. PEOPLE reported that they had been photographed together on numerous occasions since November 2025, including holding hands around Grammy weekend and attending an Oscars afterparty in March.

On March 12, the pair attended a Gagosian celebration for artist Jonas Wood in Beverly Hills. They were photographed together again during the spring as their relationship became increasingly visible around Los Angeles.

Kelly offered another glimpse into her private relationship in a July 16 Vogue essay about what it is like to date someone who already has a teenage son. Drawing partly on her own childhood experiences with her father’s girlfriends, she wrote about entering an established parent-child relationship without expecting to replace anyone or receive immediate affection.
