Fraser Olender and Matt Rogers gave their relationship another chance after Olender finished filming Below Deck in Thailand. The chief stew called it a “blissful rekindling” on the November 3 episode of Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea. The difficulty came when it was time for him to move again.

Olender said he moved “to the other side of the world.” Between the distance and the time his work on yachts demanded, he found it hard to make the relationship last. On July 16, a source close to the couple told People the decision to part was mutual.

The two had started dating in August 2025. By November, they were sharing photos together from BravoCon in Las Vegas. Rogers, who co-hosts Las Culturistas with Bowen Yang, later admitted that he hadn’t watched Olender on Below Deck before they dated.

Asked where things stood between them now, Olender said they still supported each other. “We adore each other, and I’m seeing him tomorrow,” he said.

The Break Viewers Saw on Below Deck Came Before the Reunion

When Season 13 premiered on October 12, viewers were seeing Olender months earlier, aboard the Azul V. He explained that he and Rogers both expected to spend the next two or three months away for work. They had agreed to keep in touch as often as they wanted and decide what came next once the charter season ended.

With fellow stew Rainbeau de Roos, Olender was more direct about what the time apart meant to him. “I fell in love with a man, and I still love him very much,” he said in the episode, according to Bravo. In March, Olender shared photos of the two relaxing at a resort in Phuket.

Rogers had already supplied the piece of the story viewers wouldn’t see on the yacht. On the September 23 episode of Las Culturistas, he described their separation before filming as a breakup. He said they got back together after the shoot.

Olender missed the 2025 Las Culturistas Culture Awards, but he said something complimentary about the show in an interview. Rogers told TODAY that he sent Olender a private message to thank him. By the time the next awards came around on May 30 in Los Angeles, the two were kissing for photographers in matching black outfits.

On the June 16 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Rogers said their carpet debut began with Olender asking if he wanted a picture. Asked what he liked about his boyfriend, Rogers picked his voice. Whenever Rogers tried to do too much for him, the chief stew would gently object. “Let me look after you. Let me look after you,” Rogers said, imitating Olender’s English accent.

After the split, Rogers had one request about pictures of the two of them. On the July 22 episode of Las Culturistas, he objected to outlets digitally tearing a couple’s photo down the middle to illustrate a breakup. “Don’t rip me and the boy in half, please,” he said.
