Kimmarie Johnson, the actress and model whose credits included Beverly Hills, 90210 and Dude, Where’s My Car?, died Wednesday, November 4, her niece Rhonda Scott told TMZ. The outlet reported her age as 50.

Scott said Johnson experienced a “heart event” at her Los Angeles home on October 27 and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Doctors diagnosed what the family described as a “heart aneurysm condition,” according to her account.

“She radiated a light so strong and bright,” Scott told PEOPLE. She said the family would miss Johnson tremendously and continue honoring her life.

Johnson is survived by her son, Cameron Nino, a musician born in 2003. She took time away from acting after his birth before returning to independent films and theater.

Johnson grew up in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, outside Pittsburgh. In an August 2025 interview with Voyage LA, she recalled seeing a newspaper advertisement offering a $2,000 prize in the Miss Pennsylvania competition. She entered, won and went on to compete at Miss USA without formal pageant training.

Moving to Los Angeles was more difficult. Johnson remembered arriving without knowing anyone and struggling to adjust to the city’s size and traffic after Pittsburgh. She began booking small acting roles and modeling jobs while also working at the El Rey theater.

Her 1998 guest appearance on Beverly Hills, 90210 was in “The Following Options,” a ninth-season episode listed by Apple TV. Two years later, she appeared alongside Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott in Dude, Where’s My Car?, credited as Jumpsuit Chick #5 under the name Kim Marie Johnson.

Other television work included Pamela Anderson’s V.I.P. and Wanda Sykes’ Wanda at Large. Her film credits included Spanish Fly, Shadow Fury and Break a Leg, while her later acting work included the 2017 series Tucker’s War.

She also worked behind the camera, serving as an executive producer on director Young Man Kang’s 2005 film The Last Eve, according to its IMDb credits.

Johnson founded SkinGlow by Kimmarie in 2011. The company’s range includes shea butter, marula oil, a coffee scrub and an oatmeal soap. In her Voyage LA interview, she described the business as a way to speak with women about skincare and well-being.

She still identified modeling and runway work as central to her career. Asked about mentorship, she said she had not had a mentor herself and tried to offer guidance to younger women, helping them recognize difficulties they might otherwise encounter without advice.

Johnson attended the Los Angeles premiere of Michael in April 2026. Her modeling work continued through the summer, including an August cover for a digital edition of Grazia Slovenia, an appearance also documented by Us Weekly.
