Big Tigger’s legal case has drawn new attention after TMZ published what it says is Ring camera footage tied to an alleged domestic incident involving his wife, Alicia Brown.
The longtime Atlanta radio host, whose legal name is Darian Morgan, was arrested in Fulton County on charges including battery, aggravated battery, and third-degree cruelty to children.
FOX 5 Atlanta reported that court documents accuse Morgan of pushing Brown into an office door during a May 9 argument, causing a deep cut above her left eye that required stitches.
Morgan has denied the allegations. The case remains active, and the charges and claims have not been tested in court.
TMZ Published Ring Camera Footage From Inside the Home
TMZ reported that it obtained Ring camera footage from inside the home that appears to show part of the alleged May 9 incident. The outlet said the video shows Brown telling someone to take a picture before Morgan approaches her.
According to TMZ’s description, the video appears to show Morgan grabbing Brown, holding her arms, and moving with her partly out of frame as she yells, “Get off of me!” The outlet reported that the footage then moves behind a door, where a loud noise can be heard before what sounds like Brown crying.
TMZ said it reached out to Morgan for comment on the video and had not heard back at the time of publication. The Charges Stem From a May 9 Dispute
FOX 5 Atlanta reported that the arrest affidavit says the May 9 argument began over text messages on Morgan’s phone and later continued in a basement office. According to the affidavit, Brown told investigators Morgan tackled her to the floor while trying to retrieve his phone, then followed her into the office as she unplugged a computer.
Investigators allege Morgan grabbed Brown’s arms and forcefully shoved her toward the exit. FOX 5 reported that police said the force of the shove caused Brown to stumble headfirst into an office door, leaving a deep laceration above her left eye that required numerous stitches.
The child cruelty charge is tied to an allegation that the couple’s 13-year-old son was upstairs during the dispute and heard the physical altercation. FOX 5 reported that Morgan was booked into the Fulton County Jail and released later Saturday after posting surety bonds totaling about $10,000.
Brown Was Granted a Temporary Protective Order
The case also includes a temporary protective order. TMZ reported that Brown was granted the order by a Fulton County judge after asking for protection from Morgan.
According to TMZ, the order requires Morgan to stay 200 yards away from Brown, the children, and the family home. Brown was given temporary custody of the minor children and exclusive use of the home while the matter continues.
The outlet also reported that Morgan must surrender access to the home’s Ring cameras and remote gate controls. A hearing is scheduled for July 13.
Morgan Has Denied the Allegations

Morgan publicly denied the allegations in a statement posted to Instagram. Complex reported that he wrote, “I unequivocally deny every allegation that has been made against me,” and said he has “complete confidence in the facts and in the legal process.”
He also addressed the situation on V-103, saying the allegations circulating about him were “false” and “untrue,” according to Complex. Morgan said he is limited in what he can say because the case is active, but plans to cooperate with the legal process.
Complex also noted that Brown previously said she had “never called” Morgan an abuser and that social media had drawn its own conclusions from information that was shared. That statement does not erase the criminal charges, protective order, or allegations in court documents, but it is part of the public record around how both sides have spoken about the case.
The Case Has Put a Longtime Atlanta Media Figure Under Scrutiny
Morgan is widely known in Atlanta as a V-103 radio host and a public figure at major local sports and entertainment events. Nationally, he is best known as a former host of BET’s Rap City.
