Brittany Mahomes marked Patrick Mahomes’ 31st birthday with a family-focused tribute featuring the Chiefs quarterback with their three children, Sterling, Bronze and Golden.
“Happy Birthday Babe!! You mean the world to us,” Brittany wrote in her September 17 Instagram post, according to PEOPLE. She called Patrick “the heart of our family” and told him, “we love you the MOST!”
Patrick responded beneath the post with, “Love yall.”
The birthday came three days after Mahomes returned to regular-season action following the knee injury that ended his 2025 season. His children had also recorded messages for him ahead of the comeback, congratulating their father for completing months of rehabilitation.

Brittany’s Instagram carousel included Patrick carrying and playing with the children, spending time with them at home and helping Bronze practice baseball.
Another photograph showed Sterling, Bronze and Golden sitting together with their father in pajamas. Brittany told Patrick that she hoped he felt special and loved on his birthday and “truly everyday.”
Patrick and Brittany welcomed Sterling in February 2021 and Bronze in November 2022. Their youngest child, Golden, was born in January 2025.
The couple, who began dating as teenagers, married in Hawaii in March 2022. Brittany is also a co-owner of the Kansas City Current of the National Women’s Soccer League.

The Players’ Tribune released messages from Mahomes’ children on September 14 ahead of his first regular-season game since tearing his ACL during the previous season.
“Good job for all your rehab,” one of the children told him. “We’re so happy that you get to play football again, and we get to watch you. You’re the best daddy in the world.”
Mahomes had spent the offseason working toward a Week 1 return after undergoing surgery. In January, he told the Chiefs’ official website that the rehabilitation would be a “long process” but said he was encouraged by his early progress.
He later said one of the hardest parts of the injury was how rehabilitation affected his time with Sterling, Bronze and Golden, while the opportunity to play in front of them again became part of his motivation to return.
Mahomes Returned With Three Touchdowns Against Denver
Mahomes made his regular-season return on September 14 as Kansas City opened its season against the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium.
The Chiefs won 31-10, with Mahomes completing 15 of 27 passes for 184 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed seven times for 23 yards and scored on a 15-yard run in the first quarter.
His first passing touchdown went to Rashee Rice late in the second quarter before he connected with Kenneth Walker III for another score in the fourth. Walker also rushed for 173 yards and a touchdown in his Chiefs debut.
Mahomes’ birthday followed three days later, with Brittany’s tribute shifting attention away from the season opener and toward photographs of him with Sterling, Bronze and Golden.
