Brooklyn Beckham celebrated Nelson Peltz’s 84th birthday with a public Instagram tribute as coverage of his rift with David and Victoria Beckham continued.

The 27-year-old called Nicola Peltz Beckham’s father “the best dad in the world” in a post shared during a Florida family celebration, according to The Sun.

The outlet reported that Brooklyn and Nicola wore matching cowboy hats at the birthday meal, where Nelson was photographed with Nicola, Brooklyn, and several members of the Peltz family.

The post followed fresh Father’s Day coverage around David Beckham, who included Brooklyn in a public tribute to his children despite reports that his eldest son had asked not to be posted.

Brooklyn’s Instagram post wished Nelson a happy birthday and called him “the best dad in the world,” The Sun reported.

Nicola also posted photos from the celebration. Her caption called Nelson an “incredible role model” and said he was the best father she could dream of.

She praised him for loving his children unconditionally, encouraging them to chase their dreams, and teaching them to “always always be a good human before all else.”

Nelson Peltz Has Previously Addressed the Public Drama

Nelson has already been asked publicly about the family attention surrounding Nicola and Brooklyn. At The Wall Street Journal’s Invest Live event in February, he joked, “Has my family been in the press lately? I haven’t noticed that at all,” according to People.

He said his advice to his children was to “stay the hell out of the press,” then added that Nicola was “great,” Brooklyn was “great,” and he looked forward to them having a long, happy marriage together.

E! News also covered the same comments, reporting that Nelson declined to go into detail about the dispute while making clear that he supported his daughter and son-in-law.

The Birthday Post Followed Father’s Day Tension With David Beckham

The Sun reported that David shared a Father’s Day post featuring all four of his children, including Brooklyn, and wrote that being a dad was his most important job.

The outlet cited an unnamed insider who claimed Brooklyn was “fuming” after the post because he had asked his parents to leave him alone and stop posting him.

The report also referenced Brooklyn’s earlier Instagram statement about the family dispute, including claims that his parents were controlling the narrative around the fallout. Those claims remain part of the tabloid coverage around the family.

Brooklyn’s birthday tribute to Nelson came after a DoorDash ad tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup drew more attention to the family dispute.

In the ad, Brooklyn says viewers are probably wondering why he is watching the World Cup from home, then adds, “It’s a long story”. He then puts World Cup tickets down on a coffee table.

Brooklyn and Nicola Also Marked Their Engagement Anniversary

Brooklyn and Nicola’s birthday posts for Nelson came during the same week they marked six years since their engagement.

People reported that Nicola called Brooklyn her “forever love” and “the kindest man” she had ever met in a June 24 anniversary post.

Brooklyn posted his own tribute, calling Nicola his “beautiful wife” and “whole heart.” The couple married in Palm Beach, Florida, in April 2022.
