Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham spent part of their South of France vacation with Elton John and David Furnish while Brooklyn’s parents and siblings enjoyed a separate Mediterranean getaway.
David and Victoria were photographed aboard another yacht near Formentera, Spain.
The two couples were photographed together aboard John’s yacht near Nice on July 29. According to People, Brooklyn and Nicola joined the musician and Furnish for a relaxed day on the water before walking along the waterfront.
John is Brooklyn’s godfather and a longtime friend of David and Victoria Beckham, whose public estrangement from their eldest son remains unresolved.

Photographs from the French outing showed Brooklyn, Nicola, John and Furnish seated around a table aboard the yacht. Brooklyn and Nicola were later seen holding hands as they left the boat, while John and Furnish walked together during the group’s time on land.
Brooklyn wore a white T-shirt, denim shorts, a white baseball cap and sunglasses. Nicola chose a white lace minidress, nude kitten heels, sunglasses and a patterned shoulder bag.
John wore a colorful button-up shirt with purple shorts and magenta glasses. Furnish also dressed casually in a white T-shirt, denim shorts and a hat.
Elton John Has a Long Relationship With the Beckham Family

John and Furnish are godfathers to both Brooklyn and his younger brother Romeo Beckham. Their relationship with David and Victoria stretches back decades, and Brooklyn has continued referring to John as “Uncle Elton” in public tributes.
Brooklyn and Nicola have also remained socially connected to the couple during the family estrangement. They attended the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party together in March.
Unnamed sources have previously claimed that John has remained sympathetic to both sides of the dispute. Neither John nor Furnish has publicly explained whether they have attempted to mediate between Brooklyn and his parents.
David and Victoria Vacationed Separately in Spain
David and Victoria were photographed aboard another yacht near Formentera, Spain. The Sun reported that they were joined by their other three children: Romeo, Cruz and Harper as well as Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.
The family spent part of the trip visiting Formentera and having a barbecue aboard the yacht. Brooklyn and Nicola were not photographed with them. The two groups were reportedly vacationing approximately 460 miles apart.
The Outings Followed Brooklyn’s Public Statement
Brooklyn publicly acknowledged the estrangement in January after years of speculation about tension between Nicola and the Beckham family. In the statement published through Instagram Stories, he accused his parents of controlling media narratives and attempting to undermine his marriage.
“I do not want to reconcile with my family,” Brooklyn wrote. “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.” He also claimed that stepping away from his family had relieved the anxiety he experienced while growing up in the public eye.
Victoria did not directly address each accusation when asked about the dispute in April. She said that she and David loved their children and had always tried to protect them. David declined to discuss the estrangement during a June interview, stopping the question and saying, “That’s a private matter.”
