Camille Grammer says daughter Mason spent her 25th birthday weekend checking her phone for a message from her father, Kelsey Grammer. She even searched her spam folder in case something had been missed, according to Camille, who says neither a call nor a text arrived.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star shared the account on Instagram on October 26, two days after Mason’s birthday. Her post included a childhood photograph of Kelsey holding Mason, with a clown emoji covering his face.
Camille and Kelsey married in 1997, separated in 2010 and finalized their divorce in 2011. They also share son Jude, 22.
Page Six said Kelsey’s representative did not immediately respond to its request for comment on the birthday allegations.
Camille Also Accuses Kayte Walsh of Excluding Mason

In the caption, quoted by Us Weekly, Camille contrasted Kelsey’s public standing with his responsibilities at home. She wrote that “being a father is a role that requires showing up when the cameras are off,” and said professional recognition meant little without attention to family.
Her criticism continued in the comments, where she argued that a stepmother should encourage a father-daughter relationship. Addressing Kelsey’s wife, Kayte Walsh, Camille alleged that Mason had instead felt increasingly excluded. In another reply, she claimed Mason was rarely allowed into her father’s home and held Kelsey responsible for permitting the treatment she described, according to PEOPLE.
Kelsey and Walsh married in February 2011, shortly after his divorce from Camille was finalized. They have four children together. Camille later married attorney David Meyer in 2018.
Camille Described Years of ‘Parallel Parenting’ in May
During the May 18 episode of Cynthia Bailey and Crystal Kung Minkoff’s Humble Brag podcast, Camille said she and Kelsey had not spoken in 14 years. She described their arrangement as “parallel parenting,” a term she attributed to him, with the two raising their children separately instead of maintaining a working co-parenting relationship.
She also recalled a message she said Kelsey sent around the end of their marriage: “I feel no remorse for what I am doing.” According to Us Weekly‘s coverage of the interview, Camille said the words were especially harsh because she remained in love with him and believed he felt the same.
Camille also remembered happy years together and good times during their marriage. Their separation unfolded while she was an original cast member on RHOBH, and the show’s first season documented the breakup. During the podcast conversation, she expressed sympathy for other women navigating divorce while filming a reality series.
Mason Described a Closer Relationship With Her Father in 2018
Mason discussed the divorce herself in a 2018 Genlux interview, quoted in Us Weekly‘s account of the family. She described seeing less of her father and taking on additional responsibilities while her mother struggled, including helping care for Jude.
By the time of that interview, Mason said her relationship with Kelsey had improved and that she could talk to him about everything. Her parents, she said, still did not speak to one another.
Kelsey separately acknowledged parenting regrets in a PEOPLE interview published May 8, 2025. He said he had neglected some of his children, particularly his two oldest daughters, Spencer and Greer, and was trying to make up for it. “I’m still their dad, so you can always have a chance to show up,” he said.
