Cardi B had a proud mom moment as her son Wave Set Cephus graduated from preschool.
The rapper shared photos and videos from the milestone on Instagram on Thursday, June 25, showing the 4-year-old in a blue and gold cap and gown as he celebrated with his family.
People reported that Wave received a Student’s Choice Award and a certificate during the ceremony. Cardi captioned one post, “Proud of my son 💙.”
The graduation became a family celebration, with Wave’s sisters Kulture and Blossom at the ceremony before the family continued the day at a New Jersey restaurant.

Cardi shared several photos from the ceremony, including pictures of herself hugging Wave and posing with him after he received his certificate. HOLA! reported that Wave walked across the stage in his blue and gold graduation outfit while Cardi documented the family milestone.
BCK Online reported that Wave also held a Blooming Achievement Award and wore a gold “2026 Graduate” stole with his royal blue cap and gown. Cardi appeared in a beige pantsuit as she posed with him throughout the celebration.
The moment followed a similar family milestone Cardi shared in 2023, when her eldest daughter Kulture graduated from pre-kindergarten. This time, Wave was the one onstage while Cardi cheered from the audience.

Cardi Called Him “My Baby” During the Ceremony
People reported that Cardi shared videos from the graduation on Instagram Stories, including a clip of Wave appearing shy onstage while performing with his classmates.
As Wave accepted his certificate, Cardi wrote, “My little seeds are growing 🥲.” In the video, she could be heard cheering, “Wooo! That’s my baby! My baby. That’s my boy.”
The Family Continued the Celebration at Dinner
After the ceremony, Cardi and her family went to Romo, a Latin American restaurant in New Jersey, according to People. The outlet reported that Cardi and Kulture had mocktails, steak, and fries, while the family’s younger children were also part of the celebration.
HOLA! reported that Wave’s siblings joined the milestone, including older sister Kulture, younger sister Blossom, and Cardi’s youngest son, whose name has not been publicly revealed.
Cardi shares Kulture, Wave, and Blossom with Offset. She welcomed her fourth child, a baby boy, with NFL player Stefon Diggs in November 2025.
Cardi Has Been Sharing More of Her Mom Life
The preschool graduation came after Cardi recently gave fans another look at her life with her children. BCK Online noted that she shared a carousel earlier this month captioned “just a mom,” with photos that included time with Wave and Kulture.
People also reported that Cardi previously spoke about motherhood on Angie Martinez’s IRL Podcast, saying children stay on a mother’s mind no matter how much help or money someone has.
