Chris Hemsworth is celebrating after his 14-year-old daughter, India Rose, won a bull-riding competition in which she was the only girl competing.
The actor shared footage from the event on Instagram and called his daughter a “savage” after the victory. “Only girl in the comp and took home the win,” he wrote, adding that it was a “proud moment.”
PEOPLE reported that Hemsworth’s post included both India’s ride and a clip of the father and daughter walking together before she entered the arena.
The win came after India had already tried bull riding during an earlier family rodeo outing, making the latest competition another step in a hobby her parents have previously shared with followers.
India Corrected Her Dad Before the Ride

Before India entered the arena, Hemsworth introduced her as a “champion bull rider” and asked how long she planned to stay on the bull.
He suggested seven seconds. India immediately corrected him: “Seven? Why seven? You have to stay on it for eight.”
“Eight seconds. What do I know?” Hemsworth replied.
The competition footage then shows India holding on with one hand as the bull bucks across the dirt arena before she eventually comes off. Page Six reported that the ride lasted about nine seconds.
The post drew plenty of praise for India’s performance, but some commenters also criticized bull riding and raised concerns about using animals for entertainment.
India Had Already Tried Bull Riding With Her Family

India’s latest ride was not her first attempt. In January 2025, Elsa Pataky shared footage from a family rodeo outing in which India and one of her younger brothers both climbed onto bulls.
India received high fives from her family before her turn but was bucked off shortly after the gate opened. Pataky called her a “cowgirl” in the video and admitted in her caption that watching the children ride nearly gave her a heart attack.
PEOPLE documented that earlier outing when India was 12, including the slow-motion replay of her fall and the family’s reaction from beside the arena.
India Has Also Taken Up Dirt Bikes and Horseback Riding
Bull riding is not the only high-adrenaline activity Hemsworth has shared from India’s life. In November 2025, he posted footage of her riding a dirt bike and clearing a jump before continuing around the course.
Hemsworth captioned that post, “My girl absolutely sending it last weekend!” and thanked the people who had been helping her learn to jump.
India also joined Pataky on a horseback-riding trip through Kenya earlier this year. PEOPLE noted that Pataky shared photos from the trip across the Maasai Mara, which included close encounters with elephants and several days riding with a group of women.
