Chrishell Stause broke down in tears as she confirmed that she and G Flip have separated after more than four years together. The former Selling Sunset star announced the breakup in an Instagram video on Monday, October 26.

Stause, 45, said she remained in love with the Australian musician and was struggling to accept the end of their relationship. She told followers she needed time to heal and work through what had happened.

G Flip, 33, shared a written statement later that day, expressing affection for Stause and asking supporters to respect their privacy. Neither gave a specific reason for the separation.

TMZ reported, citing unnamed sources, that G Flip initiated the split. A source subsequently told People the same thing. Neither Stause nor G Flip has publicly confirmed that account.

Stause explained that she and G Flip had agreed to approach their public separation with love and respect. Speaking directly to the camera, she said she wanted to give the people who had supported them a personal update.

“I don’t have all the information or the reasons,” she said in the video, quoted by People. She hoped that, with time, she would understand what she could learn from the experience.

At one point, Stause wiped away tears and admitted, “I feel like a little bit of a failure.” But she also questioned whether a relationship had to last forever to be worthwhile. She remembered their years together as happy ones, even though the ending was different from what she had imagined.

She closed by wishing happiness for both of them. “I will always love G, and I don’t ever really see that changing,” she said.

Her former boyfriend and Selling Sunset colleague Jason Oppenheim offered reassurance in the comments. He told Stause that a relationship ending did not mean anyone had failed and said he would be there for her.

G Flip’s message appeared as white text on a black background. The singer and drummer said they would cherish their memories with Stause and that the two would always share a special connection. “My head & heart are feeling very heavy right now,” they wrote, explaining that they were not ready to talk about the breakup.

They Met in 2021 and Later Spoke About Starting a Family

Stause and G Flip first met at a Halloween party in 2021, when both were in other relationships. Stause confirmed their romance during the Selling Sunset Season 5 reunion in May 2022. She also appeared in G Flip’s music video for “GET ME OUTTA HERE.”

They later spoke candidly about trying to have a child. In a September 2025 interview with People, G Flip described the emotional difficulties of IVF, with encouraging news followed by disappointment. They said supporting one another through those experiences was essential.

In May 2023, the couple announced that they had celebrated a private wedding in Las Vegas. G Flip later explained that the arrangements had been so sudden that family members received only a few hours’ notice.

They organized further celebrations to include more loved ones, including a ceremony in Australia in 2024. What began as a way to bring relatives together became a tradition of renewing their vows each July.

On July 26, 2025, they held a medieval-themed ceremony at a castle in the Hollywood Hills. Stause wore an off-the-shoulder corseted gown, while G Flip wore a red tunic with gold trim and carried a sword. Guests joined the theme in tunics and armor.
