D.J. Moore is asking $5.225 million for his waterfront estate outside Charlotte as he begins the next stage of his NFL career with the Buffalo Bills.
The wide receiver placed the five-bedroom home back on the market July 31, according to TMZ. The relisting comes several months after Buffalo acquired Moore from the Chicago Bears.
The asking price is $225,000 more than the $5 million Moore reportedly paid for the property in 2022. A sale at the full asking price would not represent his actual profit after commissions, taxes, maintenance and other transaction costs.
The home sits inside The Sanctuary, a gated community along Lake Wylie in southwest Charlotte.

The current real estate listing describes a 9,673-square-foot residence on a 3.9-acre waterfront lot. The house has five bedrooms, six full bathrooms and one half bathroom. A private gate opens to the property, while the main living area features 12-foot ceilings, French oak floors, a linear gas fireplace and glass walls overlooking the wooded grounds and lake.
The kitchen centers on a waterfall island wrapped in illuminated stone and includes a six-burner Wolf range, custom refrigeration, two dishwashers, a pellet ice maker and a separate scullery with a built-in coffee system. The property provides space for five vehicles through an attached two-car garage, a detached garage designed for two more cars and a basement golf-cart garage.

Moore Previously Marketed the Property for $5 Million
The home was listed for $5 million in October 2024, when Moore was playing for the Bears. Public records cited by Axios showed that Moore purchased the property through a trust called Land of Dreams in June 2022. He was preparing for his final season with the Carolina Panthers at the time.
The earlier listing described the residence as containing 9,757 square feet and five and a half bathrooms. The current listing uses updated figures of 9,673 square feet and six and a half bathrooms.
The Relisting Follows Moore’s Move to Buffalo

Carolina selected Moore with the 24th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. He remained with the Panthers through the 2022 season and recorded three consecutive campaigns with more than 1,100 receiving yards.
The Panthers traded Moore to Chicago in March 2023 as part of the package that gave Carolina the first overall pick in that year’s draft. The Panthers used the selection on quarterback Bryce Young.
Moore spent three seasons with the Bears before the Bills officially acquired him on March 11, 2026. Buffalo received Moore and Chicago’s fifth-round pick, No. 165 overall, in exchange for the Bills’ second-round selection, No. 60 overall.
The move reunited Moore with Bills head coach Joe Brady, who served as Carolina’s offensive coordinator during two of Moore’s most productive seasons. Moore has since begun working with quarterback Josh Allen as Buffalo prepares for the 2026 season.
