Dorit Kemsley says she is caring for her two children nearly all the time as her divorce from Paul “PK” Kemsley expands into a detailed dispute over custody, financial support and the future of their Los Angeles home.
In a new court filing, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star alleges that son Jagger, 12, and daughter Phoenix, 10, are in her care 95% of the time while she receives neither child nor spousal support.
PK has disputed her account of the family’s finances and maintains that selling their home is necessary to protect its remaining equity.
The competing claims have not been resolved by a judge.
Dorit Says the Children Are Primarily in Her Care
According to TMZ, Dorit claims she handles the children’s daily care and that they are “in her custodial care 95% of the time without spousal or child support.” PK has challenged her description of their parenting arrangement.
Dorit is asking the court to order PK to pay $21,086 per month in child support and $22,330 per month in spousal support. She is also requesting $347,328 in retroactive child and spousal support.
The Mortgage Agreement Is at the Center of the Fight

Dorit alleges that she and PK reached an informal agreement after their separation under which he would continue paying the mortgage and certain household expenses instead of making temporary child and spousal support payments. According to legal documents obtained by People, Dorit says she learned the payments were not being kept current after she began receiving foreclosure notices.
Her filing alleges that PK earns at least $2 million annually, has other income outside the United States and holds approximately $435,000 in cash in a bank account. Dorit wants PK ordered to bring the mortgage current and has asked the judge to deny his request for an immediate court-ordered sale. Her attorneys argue that his proposal could leave her and the children without their home.
Her legal team has also said Dorit is not necessarily opposed to an eventual sale, but wants financial safeguards and additional protections governing the process.
PK Has Challenged Dorit’s Account of Their Finances
PK has presented a sharply different version of the family’s financial situation. In an earlier filing, he alleged that Dorit spent approximately $1 million on designer clothing, luxury purchases and international travel while the mortgage was falling behind.
He claimed that Dorit used about 80% of her available funds for personal expenses and resisted efforts to work with lenders and real estate professionals to sell the property. Dorit has disputed his characterization of her spending. PK has also alleged that Dorit earns more than he does and that he continued covering household bills after moving out.
He argues that an immediate sale is necessary to preserve the home’s remaining equity and has proposed placing the proceeds in a jointly controlled blocked account while the divorce continues. His previous filings claimed the family was facing approximately $6 million in mortgage obligations connected to the property.
PK Disputes Dorit’s Description of Their Parenting Arrangement
PK has also challenged Dorit’s claim that she is responsible for nearly all of the children’s care. According to TMZ’s account of his filings, PK alleges that Dorit has repeatedly left the children with nannies or her parents rather than offering him additional parenting time. He specifically accused her of leaving the children with their grandparents in Florida while she traveled to Paris.
Dorit filed for divorce on April 25, 2025, citing irreconcilable differences. She initially requested sole legal and physical custody of the children and spousal support, while PK responded by seeking joint custody.
