Emilie Kiser and her husband, Brady Kiser, are expecting another baby after a devastating year for their family.
The 27-year-old influencer announced on Instagram on Friday, July 3, that she is pregnant with the couple’s third child. Emilie and Brady are also parents to 15-month-old son Teddy.
PEOPLE reported that Kiser described the pregnancy as a bright light after the death of their 3-year-old son, Trigg.
Trigg died in May 2025 after a drowning accident at the family’s home.

“We are so grateful and excited to share that we are expecting another baby,” Emilie wrote in her Instagram post, according to PEOPLE.
She added that the baby had “already brought so much light into our darkest days” and thanked her followers for their love, support and understanding.
Emilie also made it clear that she plans to keep this pregnancy more private than some of her earlier family updates. “Moving forward, I’ll be sharing in smaller, more private ways, and protecting this sacred time as much as I can,” she wrote.
The Couple Lost Their Son Trigg in 2025
Trigg died in May 2025 after a drowning accident at the family’s home. PEOPLE reported that Emilie stepped back from social media for several months after his death before slowly returning and speaking about grief, motherhood and healing.
In June, she gave her first interview since Trigg’s death on Jay Shetty’s On Purpose podcast. The conversation focused on the loss, the strain it placed on her marriage and the emotional work she and Brady have done since the accident.
Emilie said she had been overwhelmed by grief and anger at first, but later began to look at the accident through a different lens as she worked through the trauma.
She Recently Spoke About Forgiving Brady
In the podcast interview, Emilie said she struggled with forgiveness after Trigg’s death. PEOPLE reported that she described going through anger, therapy and long conversations with Brady as they tried to stay together after the loss.
She said one realization changed the way she looked at blame inside their marriage. “It could have happened to me,” Emilie said, according to PEOPLE.
Emilie also said therapy helped her develop compassion for Brady while still grieving their son. The couple continued raising Teddy while trying to process the accident privately and publicly.
Emilie Said the New Baby Has Brought Light to a Dark Time
Emilie’s post instead framed the baby as a source of hope for a family still carrying that loss.
She wrote that she and Brady are grateful and excited, but also asked for understanding as they protect more of this pregnancy from public view.
“Thank you for your continued love, grace and support as we navigate this new chapter,” Emilie wrote.
