George Kittle says Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have given wedding guests one clear instruction: do not bring gifts.
The San Francisco 49ers tight end shared the detail while speaking with Extra at the Sports Illustrated and Tight End University Tight Ends & Friends Concert Presented by Reese’s in Nashville on Tuesday, June 23.
People reported that Kittle confirmed he and his wife, Claire, were invited to Swift and Kelce’s upcoming wedding. When asked about a gift, he said the couple had already made their preference clear.
“They said absolutely no gifts,” Kittle told Extra. He then joked that he might still try to find a loophole for Kelce.
Kittle Said the Couple Asked for “Absolutely No Gifts”
Kittle said Kelce has an interest in old coins, which gave him one possible gift idea despite the no-gifts request. “I was thinking… Travis, for some reason, likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin,” he told Extra.
When Extra’s Alecia Davis said that sounded personal, Kittle joked that it also “sounds expensive.” His actual wedding wish for Swift and Kelce was simpler: “Have so much fun with all your friends.”
Kittle has not revealed the couple’s wedding location. InStyle reported that he said he asked Kelce about the venue and got laughed off. Kittle joked that he was “half expecting there to just be a jumbo jet on a runway” to take guests somewhere.
The Comment Came During Tight End University Week

The wedding detail came during a busy Nashville week for Kelce, Kittle and Greg Olsen, who co-founded Tight End University in 2021. The official TEU site describes the event as a three-day program where tight ends train, study film, recover and collaborate with other players at the position.
Swift and Kelce were photographed at a TEU event with Kittle, Claire Kittle, Olsen and Olsen’s daughter Talbot. The official TEU Instagram account captioned the group photo, “TEU Yearbook cover worthy ✨.”
People reported that Kittle praised Swift for attending the event while she and Kelce are preparing for the wedding. “She’s just such an awesome person to give us her time this close to their wedding,” he said. “So we’re just so thankful that they’re here.”
Swift Performed “Love Story” With Lainey Wilson
Swift’s TEU appearance also turned into a concert moment. Extra reported that she joined Lainey Wilson to close the Tight Ends & Friends Concert with “Love Story.”
People reported that Swift joked from the stage that the song was a request from “a very special tight end” named George Kittle. The performance came one year after Swift appeared at the 2025 TEU concert and performed “Shake It Off.”
Extra reported that the Nashville lineup also included Dan + Shay, Chase Rice, Jon Pardi, Nate Smith, Mitchell Tenpenny, Brett Young and The War and Treaty.
Wedding Details Remain Closely Held
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August 2025.
People reported that they are rumored to be marrying this summer, while Extra and InStyle noted that specific details such as the date, venue and full guest list have not been publicly confirmed by the couple.
