Gypsy Rose Blanchard was involved in a two-car crash in Louisiana over the weekend, drawing attention after a Facebook user said their vehicle had been hit by hers.
The collision involving Blanchard, 35, occurred Saturday, October 17, in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana State Police confirmed to PEOPLE.
The crash caused minor property damage. No injuries were reported, and no arrests were made.
Police have not publicly assigned fault for the collision. The sideswipe allegation comes from the Facebook post.
A Facebook Post Accused Blanchard of Sideswiping the Other Vehicle
“2026 is wild. Just got sideswiped by Gypsy Rose. FML,” the Facebook user wrote, according to PEOPLE.
The Sun reported that the post included photographs of damage to a white car and an image of a police report.
An unnamed source told TMZ that sunlight affected Blanchard’s vision at a Houma intersection and that her car insurance was current.
Blanchard Reportedly Replied to a Comment About a Salon Visit
Blanchard had “no statement” when Us Weekly contacted her on Sunday, October 18.
In coverage updated early Monday, The Sun reported an exchange in the Facebook comments about a hair appointment in Kenner.
“I was getting my extensions taken out because I have a funeral to go to in the coming weeks,” she reportedly wrote, before wishing the commenter a blessed day.
The Crash Comes Weeks After Ken Urker’s Death
Ken Urker, the father of Blanchard’s daughter, Aurora, was found dead at his home in Raceland, Louisiana, on October 1, his 34th birthday. The Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed his death to PEOPLE.
The pair welcomed Aurora Raina Urker in December 2024. In her public tribute, Blanchard described him as a devoted father and said she intended to make sure their daughter grew up knowing how much he loved her.
In an October 6 interview with PEOPLE, she said his family had invited her to the funeral and that she would most likely attend. Arrangements had not yet been finalized when she spoke to the magazine.
She and Aurora had already attended a private viewing with Urker’s family on October 3. Blanchard also planned a separate celebration of life in November, including fireworks in memory of Fourth of July celebrations they had enjoyed together.
The Coroner’s October 2 Statement Left the Cause of Death Pending
The Lafourche Parish Coroner’s Office told Entertainment Weekly on October 2 that Urker’s autopsy had been completed that morning. At that point, no definitive cause of death had been established, and toxicology testing remained pending.
The sheriff’s office said its investigation was continuing, with no signs of foul play found at that stage.
