Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith are reportedly sharing a home again after years of living separately, marking another turn in one of Hollywood’s most publicly discussed marriages.
PEOPLE reported that a source said Jada moved back in with Will two years ago. The insider said the couple is “happy” and remains committed to supporting each other.
Jada publicly revealed in 2023 that the couple had been separated since 2016.
The New Report Follows Years of Separate Homes
Jada revealed in 2023 that she and Will had been separated since 2016, even though they had not divorced.
PEOPLE previously reported that the two were still together while maintaining separate homes. The new source account suggests their arrangement changed around 2024, though neither Will nor Jada has publicly confirmed the current living situation in their own words.
The insider told PEOPLE that the couple’s relationship has always been difficult to define from the outside, but said the pair remains committed to each other and to their family.

The report arrived shortly after Will and Jada appeared together at Paris Fashion Week in support of their son Jaden Smith.
PEOPLE reported that the couple posed with Jaden, Willow Smith, Trey Smith and Jada’s mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, at the Christian Louboutin Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show on June 24.
Jada Was Also Reportedly With Will Over July Fourth Weekend

The same PEOPLE source said Will and Jada were together in Philadelphia over July Fourth weekend, when Will performed with The Roots during America’s 250th anniversary events.
TMZ reported that weather delayed the performance and that Will eventually went on at 2 a.m.
The Oscars moment reaffirmed Jada’s commitment
Will and Jada married in 1997 and have spent much of their adult lives in public view. Their relationship became an even bigger subject of scrutiny after the 2022 Oscars, when Will slapped Chris Rock onstage after Rock made a joke about Jada.
