Janet Jackson is heading to one of Britain’s most famous royal settings for her only UK show of 2026.

The pop and R&B icon will perform at the Royal Sandringham Estate in Norfolk on Wednesday, Aug. 19, as part of the HeritageLive Festival. HeritageLive announced that Jackson will open the Sandringham run with special guests Wyclef Jean and Soul II Soul.

The booking gives the festival a major pop name at a venue better known as one of the royal family’s private estates. Sandringham is closely associated with King Charles and the late Queen Elizabeth II, which gives Jackson’s “music royalty” billing an obvious extra charge.

Jackson Will Play Sandringham on Aug. 19

The Sandringham concert is being billed as Jackson’s only UK show of the year. Entertainment Focus reported that the performance is scheduled one night before Lionel Richie’s HeritageLive date at the same estate.

The 2026 Sandringham schedule now places Jackson on Aug. 19, Richie on Aug. 20, Ricky Martin on Aug. 22 and Eric Clapton on Aug. 23.

Wyclef Jean and Soul II Soul Are Joining the Bill

Jackson will not be performing alone. Wyclef Jean and Soul II Soul are listed as special guests for the Sandringham show.

Wyclef Jean is best known as a founding member of the Fugees and later as a solo artist, producer and collaborator. Soul II Soul, the British collective led by Jazzie B, became a major force in late-1980s and early-1990s club and R&B culture with songs including “Back to Life.”

The support bill gives the night a wider R&B, soul, hip-hop and pop frame rather than making it only a legacy pop booking.

Tickets Go on Presale in June

Tickets for Jackson’s Sandringham show are scheduled to be available through presale from Tuesday, June 2, at 9 a.m., according to Entertainment Focus.

Fans must pre-register through the presale page. HeritageLive’s announcement says fans who do not register are unlikely to secure tickets because the presale is expected to sell out.

The announcement also lists discounted multi-day festival tickets, VIP packages, and glamping or caravan pitches.

HeritageLive Called Jackson “Music Royalty”

Giles Cooper of HeritageLive Festival said the promoter was “absolutely delighted” to add Jackson to the 2026 Sandringham lineup.

“Janet is genuine music royalty: a performer whose influence, catalogue and live reputation span generations,” Cooper said in the announcement published by Entertainment Focus.

At Sandringham, that phrase is not just routine promoter language. Jackson is being placed on a royal estate as a pop figure with a catalog that has shaped dance, R&B and MTV-era performance for decades.

The Show Follows Another Career Milestone

The Sandringham announcement comes in the same year that Jackson’s Rhythm Nation 1814 was added to the Grammy Hall of Fame. Entertainment Focus reported that Jackson used her acceptance remarks to describe Rhythm Nation as a movement built around love and unity.

The 1989 album remains one of Jackson’s defining works, with hits including “Miss You Much,” “Rhythm Nation,” “Escapade” and “Black Cat.”
