Jason Momoa made the London Supergirl event a family night, but his daughter Lola Iolani Momoa brought the detail that gave the red carpet its fashion hook.

The actor attended the June 18 fan event for the upcoming DC film with his daughter Lola, 18, and son Nakoa-Wolf, whom he shares with ex-wife Lisa Bonet.

People reported that Momoa posed between his children on the red carpet while wearing a gray three-piece suit.

Lola wore a strapless black dress with wired headphones and a red bag. Nakoa-Wolf wore black slacks, a black vest, a black beaded necklace and a silver chain.

Lola Iolani Added Wired Headphones to the Look

WWD covered Lola’s styling at the Supergirl event and focused on the wired headphones as the red-carpet accessory.

The red bag added another small color break against the darker family palette. She did not need a heavy jewelry stack or oversized gown detail to make the outfit register in photos.

People described the appearance as a rare red-carpet outing with both of Momoa’s children. The three posed together at the London event as Momoa promoted his new DC role.

Momoa has spoken before about how closely his children are tied to him personally. In a February interview with People, he said his favorite tattoo is the one connected to the first time his children wrote their names, which he had put over his heart.

He has also talked about Nakoa-Wolf joining Dune: Part Three. People reported that Momoa said he became emotional watching his son work on a scene with Zendaya after landing a role in the film.

Supergirl Introduces Momoa’s New DC Role

Reuters reported that Supergirl stars Milly Alcock as Kara Zor-El and follows a more reluctant version of the DC hero.

The film is based on the comic book series Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, with Craig Gillespie directing from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira.

Reuters reported that the story follows Kara on an intergalactic mission with Ruthye Marye Knoll, played by Eve Ridley, after Ruthye’s family is attacked. Matthias Schoenaerts plays Krem of the Yellow Hills, while Momoa appears as Lobo.

Momoa told Reuters that playing Lobo was a longtime goal for him and called the role a “proud achievement.”

Lola Has Joined Her Father on Red Carpets Before

Lola has appeared with Momoa at previous public events, including the 2024 premiere of The Bikeriders. People included a 2024 photo of Momoa with both children while covering the new Supergirl outing.

The London appearance gave fans a newer family photo tied to Momoa’s next franchise chapter. He is no longer appearing in DC as Aquaman; this time, he is entering the universe as Lobo.

Supergirl begins its global theatrical rollout on June 24, according to Reuters.
