Jeremy London says he is not homeless after asking fans for help finding work and housing. In follow-up posts covered by Entertainment Weekly, the actor pushed back against the impression that he had nowhere to go.

London first posted on X on November 5th about trouble involving his boss, warning that he might lose his job and home. He subsequently deleted the message after it attracted concern from followers and coverage from entertainment outlets.

He had been working at a tree service business in Pennsylvania, where he hoped to remain. London explained that he had fallen in love with the area and was upset at the prospect of leaving.

The actor, who turned 54 on November 7th, is known for playing Chandler Hampton on 7th Heaven, Griffin Holbrook on Party of Five and T.S. Quint in Kevin Smith’s 1995 comedy Mallrats.

London also responded to a follower who pointed out that his initial message had sounded desperate and suggested he could become homeless.

“I was sad. My wording sucked. I own that,” he replied, according to Just Jared.

His frustration extended to the attention given to actors’ personal posts. In another message, London questioned why his tweets should become news simply because he was recognizable.

The original message and accompanying replies showed how unsettled London had been by events at work. He described feeling shocked and unable to sleep, according to PEOPLE.

When one follower suggested that he was a busy actor, London disputed that assumption. He explained that he kept other jobs because his acting work was not as consistent as people appeared to believe.

He outlined experience cutting trees, laying stone and operating heavy machinery. Outdoor work was his main preference, although he said he was willing to consider something new.

London also emphasized that he enjoyed having a regular job alongside acting. His request for leads extended beyond film and television opportunities.
