Ella Bleu Travolta made her Paris Fashion Week runway debut at Miu Miu’s Oct. 4 show, E! News reported. The 26-year-old daughter of John Travolta and the late Kelly Preston walked in the label’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection.
She wore an oversized green blazer over a geometric-print top, with dark trousers carrying a contrasting stripe down each side. Her hands were tucked into her pockets, her hair was pulled back, and open-toe shoes peeked out beneath the long trouser hems.
At the Palais d’Iéna, a purple floor crossed with white lines gave the runway the appearance of a sports court. Spectators sat on bleachers, as Wallpaper* documented, with the audience lining both sides of the catwalk.
“The concept of mixing elements of sports with sophistication is something that has always influenced my work,” Miuccia Prada said of the collection, titled “Here and Now.”
Olivia Colman and Jamie Bell Joined the Miu Miu Cast
Oscar winner Olivia Colman walked in a leather jacket-and-skirt look, while Jamie Bell wore a fitted long-sleeve top with checked trousers. Emma Corrin returned after closing the label’s fall 2023 show. The Miu Miu lineup also included Gigi Hadid, Liu Wen, Louisa Jacobson, Noah Jupe, Chandler Kinney and Katherine Waterston.
As Vogue France noted, the house had sent Chloë Sevigny and Gillian Anderson down its runway the previous season. This cast also included Hortense de Gromard, an actress and trained ballet dancer, alongside younger performers and established models.
Suede was treated with wax to encourage cracking and creasing, and crisscrossed lacing replaced conventional fastenings on jeans, skirts, dresses and shoes. Satin and gauze were combined with metal and deliberately crushed, according to the house’s show notes.
For the Wrangler collaboration, vintage specialists sourced late-20th-century jeans that could be reworked through Miu Miu Upcycled. The latest New Balance partnership reconstructed the RC150 racing sneaker in technical mesh, with laces threaded through external loops and loosely knotted at the toe. The brand described it as the fifth year of their collaboration.
Miu Miu also plans to reuse the show’s set as the base for Geste de Consolation, or Gesture of Consolation, an interdisciplinary project by French filmmaker Alice Diop to be presented as part of Art Basel Paris 2026.
Her First Fashion Week Walk Was in New York in 2022
Ella had already appeared on a runway in September 2022, when she modeled Karl Lagerfeld’s Cara Loves Karl collection during New York Fashion Week. She wore a dark blazer and trousers with a lace top, with her hair down and slicked back at the front, as Hollywood Life documented. “So proud of Ella’s debut at fashion week in New York City!” John wrote on Instagram, E! News reported.
Cara Delevingne developed that gender-neutral collection with the label’s design director, Hun Kim, according to a brand-sponsored feature in Hypebeast. The range included tailored two-piece suits, transformable jackets and reversible fleece hoodies.
Miu Miu Also Dressed Her for Her Father’s Film Premiere
Months before her Paris walk, Ella wore Miu Miu to the May 21 New York premiere of Propeller One-Way Night Coach. Her dress was printed with blue flowers and green leaves, with crystal-embroidered straps and a bow at the front. She attended the Museum of Modern Art event alongside her father, who wore a navy three-piece suit, Page Six reported.
In the film, she plays Doris, a flight attendant who meets a young aviation enthusiast named Jeff, played by Clark Shotwell. Jeff and his mother, played by Kelly Eviston-Quinnett, are making a cross-country trip to Hollywood. The project, which premiered at Cannes in May, is John’s directorial debut. Adapted from his 1997 children’s book, it was released on Apple TV on May 29.
John told PEOPLE during a May interview at Cannes that he saw Ella’s screen presence in the tradition of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly and wanted the film to introduce her as a star. They had previously acted together in Old Dogs in 2009 and The Poison Rose in 2019.
“My dad let me be a part of a lot of the creative aspects of the film,” Ella told PEOPLE at the New York premiere. During breaks in filming, they would go to the restaurant at the TWA Hotel to eat and discuss the day’s work and what was coming next.
