Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s anniversary tributes reached into their family photo album. One of his pictures showed her hugging him from behind, with a message across the top: “14 DOWN, FOREVER TO GO.”
The couple posted their tributes on Instagram Stories on Oct. 4, E! News reported. Timberlake began with a photograph of them walking hand in hand, accompanied by James Taylor’s How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You).
Another picture showed Biel looking into the camera through a black light-therapy mask, wearing a cardigan and a pendant necklace. Timberlake wrote “MY FAVORITE PERSON IN EVERY LIFETIME” over the close-up.
Biel answered with a photo of herself kissing his cheek, captioned “I love you,” and a selfie in which she flashed a peace sign beside her husband. “Happy anniversary my love,” she wrote on that image, tagging Timberlake’s account.
Silas and Phineas Appeared in Both Parents’ Tributes
Timberlake included a family portrait with sons Silas, 11, and Phineas, 6, showing all four facing away from the camera. His hand rested on one boy’s head while the other stood beside Biel. Above the photograph, he praised his wife as a mother.
The picture had appeared in his May 10 Mother’s Day post before he reshared it for the anniversary, according to InStyle. Biel’s tribute included a different family memory: Timberlake and both boys on a snowy mountainside, wearing helmets and goggles. One child posed with a snowboard while the other stood on skis beside his father. She labeled the picture “The best Dad.”
In August, Timberlake had shared a summer carousel featuring golf, a rodeo and a large bowl of ice cream, with the caption “Been outside.” The collection also included Biel holding a fish and a photograph of Biel in a copper-colored dress beside Timberlake, as InStyle documented.
Biel Has Explained How They Decide What to Share About Their Sons
During a May 2024 appearance on Kelly Ripa’s Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast, Biel said she wanted to give their children a more ordinary upbringing away from constant paparazzi attention, Entertainment Tonight reported. She acknowledged that public attention comes with her and Timberlake’s work, while pointing out that “these kids didn’t choose this.”
She described wanting to share family experiences with friends and loved ones without making her sons a constant presence on her public account. Her preference was to leave decisions about greater exposure to the boys when they were old enough.
In a 2025 interview with InStyle, Biel described discussing photographers with Silas before taking him to the previous summer’s US Open. He loved tennis, and she wanted his input about attending. “He can’t make these decisions on his own, but at this point, we can at least discuss what’s his opinion around it,” she said. She recalled enjoying their day together while remaining uncertain whether she had made the right call.

On Sept. 11, Biel shared a Paris carousel captioned “Paris is for lovers,” Parade reported. The collection included the couple eating together outdoors, with glasses of white wine on the table. Both wore sunglasses and baseball caps, and they held up peace signs for the camera.
The trip also took Timberlake to the stage at Jay-Z’s Sept. 10 concert at Stade de France. Biel included footage of the two performing Holy Grail, while Timberlake shared his own photographs and clips from the appearance. He also performed Until the End of Time, according to InStyle.
They Renewed Their Vows in Italy Before Their 10th Anniversary
The couple married at Borgo Egnazia in Puglia, Italy, on Oct. 19, 2012, CBS News reported at the time. They returned to Italy for a vow renewal in the summer of 2022, which Biel disclosed when they celebrated a decade of marriage that October.
Biel later described the gathering as small and hastily arranged during a November 2022 appearance on Today with Hoda & Jenna, iHeart reported. “We almost canceled it,” she recalled. “We thought, ‘This is silly, are we going to feel goofy doing this?’” She said the ceremony ultimately felt moving.
Two years later, Timberlake marked their 12th anniversary during his Oct. 4, 2024, concert at Montreal’s Bell Centre. Biel watched from the side of the stage as he asked the audience to be kind to her for sharing him with the crowd that evening, according to PEOPLE. She reposted the concert clip with the message, “Wouldn’t want to spend it anywhere else.”
