Kaley Cuoco and Tom Pelphrey are expecting their second child together.
The Big Bang Theory and The Flight Attendant actress, 40, announced that she is pregnant again with fiancé Pelphrey, 43. People reported that the couple shared the news through an Instagram photo series with their 3-year-old daughter, Matilda.
The first photo showed Cuoco and Pelphrey posing with Matilda in front of a sprinkle-covered cake that read, “It’s a….” A missing slice revealed a pink center, confirming that another baby girl is on the way.
Cuoco also shared mirror selfies of her baby bump and several photos from her pregnancy so far. In her caption, she said the new baby is “completing our little family” and called the pregnancy a “dream come true.”

Cuoco wrote that the second pregnancy journey has been “a little windier in many ways,” but said she and Pelphrey are grateful for the moment. She also joked that Pelphrey is a “girl dad for life” now that “little sissy” is on the way.
The post ended with a funny ultrasound detail. Cuoco wrote that the last photo showed their “dainty princess” giving them the middle finger in a sonogram image. Page Six reported that Pelphrey made a similar joke in his own post, writing that the doctor gave the baby “a little prod” for the picture and that her immediate response already looked like his child.
Matilda Is About to Become a Big Sister
Cuoco and Pelphrey welcomed Matilda in March 2023. People reported that Cuoco previously described her daughter as energetic and curious, saying Matilda loves being outside, loves her dad, and gets excited about airplanes, monster trucks, helicopters, horses, and “anything in the sky.”
Cuoco and Pelphrey Got Engaged in 2024
Cuoco announced her engagement to Pelphrey on Instagram Stories in August 2024. People reported that she had previously said they were not rushing into wedding planning and were open to having another baby before getting married.
“We’re gonna go way out of order. That’s our plan,” Cuoco told People in 2024 when discussing the possibility of another child before the wedding.
Their Relationship Started in 2022
Cuoco and Pelphrey first connected in April 2022 after being introduced by their mutual manager, Andrea Pett-Joseph. Cuoco later told USA Today that she felt an immediate connection when they met in person at the Ozark premiere.
The couple went Instagram official in May 2022, welcomed Matilda the following year, and got engaged in 2024. Their new announcement adds another daughter to the family before the wedding plans have taken center stage.
