Katie Holmes and artist Jason Bard Yarmosky have taken their increasingly public romance to Lake Como, sharing a collection of affectionate photographs from an Italian getaway.
Yarmosky posted a vacation carousel Sept. 6 showing the couple sightseeing, swimming and relaxing together on the water. Holmes appeared in a white bikini while sunbathing on a speedboat and later joined him for a photograph in coordinating black outfits.
The vacation arrived five days after Holmes publicly celebrated Yarmosky’s birthday with an Instagram post featuring the artist. She called him “the best of the best” alongside a candid photograph of the pair laughing with their heads together.
The two were first linked in July and have since attended several events as a couple. The Lake Como photographs mark their most personal public look yet at the relationship, and Holmes followed Yarmosky’s boat pictures with another vacation carousel of her own the next day.

Yarmosky captioned his vacation carousel, “Life is a friend of art.” The collection included views across Lake Como as the couple spent time on a speedboat and in the water.
One photograph showed Holmes relaxing at the back of the boat in a white bikini, while another captured her making a heart shape with her hands from the lake. She also posed playfully on top of the boat as the sun went down behind her.
Yarmosky appeared at the controls during part of the excursion and posed against the surrounding scenery. Later photographs showed the pair together after changing into black evening clothes, with Holmes wearing a halter-style dress as they sat at the back of the boat.
Holmes Followed With Her Own Look at Their Italy Vacation
Holmes added another chapter to the trip Sept. 7, sharing her own carousel from Italy. The photographs included the couple hiking through mountain scenery, spending time outdoors together and sharing a kiss.
She also included images from a candlelit dinner and more views from the trip. PEOPLE reported that Yarmosky also shared the new collection, continuing a week in which both of their accounts had become much more openly couple-focused.

Holmes publicly marked Yarmosky’s birthday Sept. 1 with a two-image Instagram post that PEOPLE described as the couple making their relationship Instagram official.
“Happy Birthday to the best of the best…❤️,” she wrote while tagging his account. Holmes also shared an Instagram Stories video from the intimate celebration showing Yarmosky blowing out his candles while guests cheered.
The Couple Was First Seen Together in July
Holmes and Yarmosky were first photographed holding hands July 10 at an East Hampton screening of Olivia Wilde’s film The Invite. A witness told PEOPLE that the pair appeared relaxed together and that Holmes rested her head on his shoulder during the movie.
A source later said they had initially connected at a dinner and were drawn together in part by their shared interest in creativity. Holmes and Yarmosky soon moved beyond private dates into public events, making their first fashion-event appearance together at a Ferragamo dinner in Bridgehampton on July 24.
They attended the Guild Hall Summer Gala together Aug. 7 and then appeared at Michael Kors’ 45th-anniversary dinner in East Hampton on Aug. 20, where photographs showed them holding hands and posing alongside the designer.
Yarmosky’s Art Explores Aging and Memory
Yarmosky, 39, is a New York-born painter whose work primarily examines aging, time and memory. According to his official biography, his interest in those subjects grew partly from his close relationship with his grandparents, who were about six decades older than him.
His grandparents became recurring subjects in his portraits for more than 10 years, allowing him to explore vulnerability, care, humor and individuality in later life. His work combines techniques associated with 17th- and 18th-century painting with contemporary imagery, theatrical costumes and staged interiors.
Yarmosky earned his bachelor of fine arts degree from New York City’s School of Visual Arts in 2010. His paintings and drawings have since appeared at institutions including the Brooklyn Museum of Art, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and San Antonio Museum of Art, along with a solo exhibition at Guild Hall in East Hampton.
