Entertainment Weekly, citing Kardashian’s new Sunday Times Style interview, reports that she employs five nannies to help care for her four children.
The Skims co-founder shares North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7, with ex-husband Kanye West. Her Sunday Times interview was published on Oct. 3.
Kardashian described herself as an “intermediate-strict parent,” saying she is patient and affectionate with the children. She also said she lets them sleep in her bed when they want.
When discussing what she wants them to understand about their lifestyle, Kardashian emphasized gratitude and hard work. She said she is open with them about her professional commitments and the effort she has put into studying law, adding that the children are proud of her.
School Runs, Dinner and Bedtime Reading Stay in Her Routine
Kardashian said she takes the children to school and picks them up, eats dinner with them each evening and reads books with them at night. Those were the everyday responsibilities she described in the interview, according to InStyle’s account, published by AOL.
In a November 2024 conversation with longtime friend Zoe Winkler on iHeart’s What In The Winkler?! podcast, Kardashian recalled getting five children ready for carpool that morning. They had competing requests and different ideas about when to leave. Between getting everyone dressed, brushing teeth and doing hair, she compared the preparations to a race-car pit stop. She called the drive “my bonding time.”
On an October 2023 episode of The Kardashians, she explained that she had hired a male nanny in part to take Saint to sports activities. Describing her household and extended family as largely female, she said she wanted a male caregiver around her son, according to PEOPLE. During the same episode, she recalled West meeting the caregiver and playing soccer with him and Saint.
She Has Described Lonely Nights Despite Having Help
Speaking with Winkler, Kardashian said she sometimes felt alone in parenting even with a strong support system. She described being woken by crying and restless children during the night. She also said she hesitated to discuss those experiences because people would point to her money and the help she could afford.
During her Oct. 15, 2025 appearance on Call Her Daddy, Kardashian discussed the effort involved in co-parenting. “I welcome a great, healthy relationship with my kids and their dad,” she told Alex Cooper, in comments reported by PEOPLE. She said she encouraged that connection while also making decisions about when the children needed protection, describing the process as changing through different phases.
North’s Music Projects Need Both Parents’ Approval
Of the siblings, North is the most interested in public-facing projects, Kardashian said in the Style interview. The younger children may be present while she films, but they do not take on storylines. With her eldest daughter, she described trying to preserve time for childhood rather than accepting every opportunity that comes along.
Because much of North’s work involves music, Kardashian said she and West communicate more easily about those decisions. “We make sure that we’re aligned and that she’s in projects that we both approve,” she said.
