Klay Thompson is enjoying his NBA offseason, and his latest night out has already sparked another round of questions about his personal life.
The Dallas Mavericks star was spotted with an unidentified woman at a Rebelution concert during the Orange County Fair on August 8. Video obtained by TMZ showed the pair watching the reggae group together from a private box.
The sighting comes less than four months after Megan Thee Stallion publicly announced the end of her relationship with Thompson. Their breakup followed a highly visible romance that began publicly during the summer of 2025.
TMZ reported that the pair showed no public displays of affection.
Thompson and His Companion Kept Things Low-Key
Thompson and the woman appeared relaxed as they watched Rebelution perform at the Orange County Fair. According to TMZ, the four-time NBA champion was seen sipping from a flask during the evening.
A security guard accompanied the pair, while an Orange County Sheriff’s deputy was also positioned near the box. Thompson wore a beige hat and denim top, while his companion wore a green top with her hair pulled into a top knot.
The Sighting Quickly Sparked Dating Questions
The lack of confirmation did little to prevent speculation once photographs and video from the concert began circulating. The New York Post also reported on the outing. Thompson has not publicly identified his companion or said whether he is currently in another relationship.
His Relationship With Megan Ended in April
Thompson and Megan went public with their relationship during the summer of 2025. The pair subsequently confirmed the relationship and made their red-carpet debut together at her Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City in July.
Over the following months, they shared vacations and social-media posts and appeared together at basketball games. In January, Megan kissed Thompson on the court at Madison Square Garden following the Mavericks’ victory over the New York Knicks.
The relationship ended publicly on April 25, 2026. “I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay,” Megan said in a statement reported by Billboard.
“Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward.” She said she planned to prioritize herself and move forward “with peace and clarity.”
Megan Appeared to Accuse Thompson of Cheating
Before confirming the breakup, Megan posted a strongly worded Instagram Story in which she appeared to accuse Thompson of being unfaithful. “Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house… got ‘cold feet,’” she wrote.
She also questioned why someone who had involved her in his family life would later say he was uncertain about being monogamous. PEOPLE reported that Megan’s statement confirming the breakup came later that same day.
