Maren Morris and Cassadee Pope have turned a New York night out into a new round of dating speculation after sharing affectionate photos on social media.
Just Jared reported that the two country singers were in New York City over the weekend and appeared together in photos from a Broadway outing.
Morris and Pope kissing, with Pope adding a caption that read, “She won’t go out with you because she’s out with me, silly.”
The Instagram Story Fueled Romance Questions
The kissing photo was posted to Pope’s Instagram Story and tagged Morris.
Morris also included a photo of herself with her arm around Pope in a separate Instagram post, captioning the carousel, “A time was had.”
Page Six reported that Pope later shared another image suggesting she wanted Morris to move closer. The posts have led fans to call the moment a possible “hard launch”.
The NYC Trip Included a Broadway Night

Just Jared reported that Morris and Pope attended Meg Stalter’s opening night performance in Oh, Mary! on Broadway and sat in front-row center seats.
Extra also reported that Morris had recently attended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden, where she was seen spending time with Kelsea Ballerini and Miranda Lambert. Pope was not described as Morris’ wedding date in the available reports.
Morris Has Been Open About Her Bisexuality

Morris has publicly came out as bisexual during Pride Month in 2024.
At the time, Morris posted photos from her RSVP Redux Tour and wrote that she was “Happy to be the B in LGBTQ+.” She later spoke about wanting to be honest with fans and connect with her queer community after her divorce from Ryan Hurd.
Earlier this year, Morris also discussed a brief first relationship with a woman in a TikTok video, describing the experience as painful and saying she had been clear that she was not looking for anything serious at that point.
Morris and Pope Have a Public History Together
Morris and Pope have appeared together at industry events, and Pope previously opened for Morris on her Girl: The World Tour.
The two also became part of the same public conversation in 2022 when they criticized Brittany Aldean after a social media caption that many described as anti-trans. Pope criticized the comparison in Aldean’s post, while Morris later called the comments transphobic.
