Mary Mary singer Trecina “Tina” Campbell has put detailed financial figures on the record as her divorce from Glendon “Teddy” Campbell moves forward after more than 25 years of marriage.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, the 52-year-old singer reported working approximately 20 hours per week and receiving about $4,976 in monthly income. She listed monthly expenses totaling $11,933.
Campbell also provided an estimate of her estranged husband’s earnings, saying Teddy makes approximately $7,500 per month working as a drummer.
The new numbers arrive weeks after Tina responded to Teddy’s divorce petition with requests concerning custody and spousal support. Teddy filed in Los Angeles County in April, citing irreconcilable differences, while the two sides have given different dates for when their separation began.
Tina Lists Nearly $12,000 in Monthly Expenses
Her largest listed cost is $4,100 per month in rent, according to TMZ. She also reported spending $2,200 on utilities and $1,800 on groceries and household costs.
Transportation accounts for another $1,308, while Tina listed $400 in charitable contributions, $266 in health-care expenses, $208 for her cell phone, $150 for education and $100 for laundry and cleaning. Additional bills make up the remainder of the reported total.
Tina Wants Custody and No Spousal Support for Either Side
In court documents previously obtained by TMZ, she asked for legal and physical custody of the couple’s two minor children while remaining open to Teddy receiving visitation. The couple share a 16-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter, along with three adult children.
Tina also asked the court to terminate its ability to award spousal support to either spouse. Teddy took a different approach in his original petition, asking for the question of spousal support to be reserved for future determination rather than seeking an immediate award.
Both filings indicated that there are no separate or community property issues requiring division. TMZ noted that Tina did not specifically reference a prenuptial agreement in her response.
Teddy Filed for Divorce After More Than 25 Years of Marriage
Teddy filed for divorce on April 13 in Los Angeles County Superior Court after more than 25 years of marriage. E! News reported that he cited irreconcilable differences and requested parenting time with the couple’s minor children.
Teddy listed June 2024 as the couple’s date of separation. When Tina filed her response, however, she gave a more specific and later date, August 8, 2024.
Tina and Teddy married in August 2000. She rose to fame with her sister Erica Campbell in the Grammy-winning gospel duo Mary Mary, while Teddy built his career as a musician and was the drummer for The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.
Their Marriage Had Survived a Public Crisis More Than a Decade Earlier
The couple had previously discussed serious problems in their marriage publicly, including Teddy’s acknowledgment of infidelity in 2013. Their attempts to repair the relationship became part of WE tv’s reality series Mary Mary. Tina later spoke in interviews about the anger and emotional turmoil she experienced after learning about Teddy’s affairs, while Teddy publicly discussed his own responsibility for what happened. They eventually reconciled and remained together for more than another decade.
