Millie Bobby Brown has shared a new glimpse of family life with Jake Bongiovi and their daughter during a trip to Italy.
The 22-year-old actress posted a seven-part Instagram carousel from the Dolomites on September 7. The opening video shows Brown carrying her daughter on her hip as she and Bongiovi cross a wooden bridge while each leading a llama.
Brown captioned the post “different in the dolomites” and tagged San Sonnea Family. The rest of the carousel moves through mountain views, ducks among flowers, eggs, Bongiovi relaxing outside and Brown posing in an “Italia” top.
The couple still kept their daughter’s identity private. Her face is not shown, and Brown and Bongiovi have never publicly announced her name since revealing in August 2025 that they had welcomed a baby girl through adoption.
The Italy Video Keeps Their Daughter’s Face Out of View

The first clip in Brown’s September 7 Instagram post places all three members of the family together in the Dolomites. Brown carries her daughter while Bongiovi walks alongside her, with the two adults each holding the lead for a llama as they cross the bridge.
PEOPLE reported that Brown, Bongiovi and their daughter were vacationing together in Italy. Just Jared identified the location as the Dolomites and noted that Brown tagged San Sonnea Family in her post.
The baby appears as part of the outing, but Brown keeps the camera positioned so her face is not visible. The remaining six slides focus mostly on the surrounding trip rather than on her daughter.
Brown has shared other limited glimpses of motherhood since becoming a parent, including family photographs and occasional stories about life with her daughter. She has continued keeping identifying details out of those posts.
Brown Says Her Daughter Should Decide What Becomes Public
Brown and Bongiovi announced on August 21, 2025 that they had welcomed a daughter through adoption. “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” they wrote at the time, adding that they wanted to begin parenthood in “peace and privacy.”
They did not disclose the child’s name or birth date. Brown later explained that decision more fully in a British Vogue interview.
When the magazine asked her to describe her daughter’s personality, Brown declined. “For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,” she said.
Brown also said she would support her daughter if she eventually chose to share more of herself publicly, but she did not want to make that choice for her while she was young. “As her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that,” Brown said. She added that they did not plan to disclose her name until their daughter was ready to make that decision herself.
Motherhood Is Changing the Work Brown Wants to Make
Brown has been more open about how becoming a mother has affected her own life and career. While promoting Enola Holmes 3, she told Access Hollywood that “everything is about her” now when she thinks about the work she puts into the world.
She does not expect her daughter to grow up wanting to imitate her. Instead, Brown said she wants to help put more female characters on screen in the hope that those roles encourage more filmmakers and young actresses to create women her daughter may eventually look up to.
Brown made a similar point while discussing parenting with UNICEF in June. She said raising a daughter carries a responsibility to surround her with examples of “girls supporting girls, women succeeding, women achieving their dreams.”
Her daughter has not shown much interest in watching her mother onscreen yet. During a June appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Brown said she tried showing her the first Enola Holmes movie. The little girl was uninterested until Brown spoke onscreen and she recognized her mother’s voice.
