Offset says his recent casino experiences have made him hesitant to return, though TMZ’s account of their conversation suggests he isn’t giving up gambling. The rapper spoke with the outlet at Los Angeles International Airport on November 5.
He was discussing Every Night, his collaboration with Don Toliver, whose video places them inside a casino. Offset described his life as a “movie,” according to TMZ‘s report published the following day.
The song is part of the campaign for GMFU. Offset’s official website now lists November 13 as the album’s release date, three weeks after the October 23 arrival originally announced through Motown Records.
He and Toliver have worked together before, including on Worth It from Offset’s 2023 album Set It Off. Both also appeared alongside Quavo on Had Enough, released on the 2019 Jackboys compilation.
Every Night Pairs a Jodeci Sample With Casino Imagery

Produced by Jaasu, the track samples Jodeci’s 1995 single Freek’n You. Mikey Rare and SheShe Pendleton directed the video, according to AllHipHop.
In the promotional footage, Offset throws dice at a craps table and performs beside a dancer in a peacock-inspired costume, as iHeart documented. The tables and elaborate outfits supply the backdrop for a song built around romantic pursuit rather than an account of a specific gambling session.
The single followed September’s Something I Need, produced by Southside, Smatt Sertified and Jester Beats. Both releases preceded the change to the album’s schedule.

The Paris footage circulated on October 5 as a recording of Offset arguing with casino employees. He subsequently told The Shade Room that it was a skit promoting his album, according to HotNewHipHop. “Man, they messin up my rollout,” he said.
In the BACKGRID video, he objects to other gamblers occupying the position he considers his at the blackjack table. He invokes wagers of $10,000 to $20,000 and claims to have won about $200,000. Those figures are his statements in the footage, not independently established gambling results.
Offset did not explain how the scene was arranged or who else knew it was staged. His account disputes the initial portrayal of the exchange as an unplanned confrontation.
He Returned to Performing Days After the Florida Shooting
On April 6, Offset was shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. His representative confirmed that he was receiving hospital treatment, while Seminole Police described the injuries from the valet-area incident as non-life-threatening, the Associated Press reported.
Police said a fight preceded the shooting. Lil Tjay was arrested over that earlier altercation; his lawyer told AP he had not been charged with a shooting or other gun-related offense.
Offset was discharged later that week and thanked people who had checked on him. In an April 10 Instagram statement, he said he was concentrating on his family, recovery and music.
The following day, he performed at Rowfest at the University of Arkansas. A video he shared showed him arriving onstage in a wheelchair and then standing to perform, with a chair available behind him, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Detroit Casino’s $100,000 Lawsuit Advanced After a Missed Deadline
MotorCity Casino Hotel brought a separate civil case over a credit line it says Offset opened in March 2024 and failed to repay. Its complaint included breach-of-contract and fraud claims, as Us Weekly reported in April.
The casino alleged that it could not reach him about the balance and that an authorized attempt to withdraw the money from his account failed because there were insufficient funds. Asked about the lawsuit at the time, his representative told Us Weekly, “We are working toward a resolution.”
On October 9, Complex reported a judge had ordered a default-judgment motion after Offset missed his deadline to answer.
An earlier Baller Alert report identified the order as dated September 11 and said the requested judgment was to be considered by October 23. That order directed the next procedural step; it was not itself a final award of the disputed money.
