On Wednesday, Erika Kirk called anti-ICE protesters “demonic” from the stage of a California megachurch. It was the opening night of her Christian revival tour, “Make Heaven Crowded.”
By Friday, a 2014 video of her had gone viral — one where she acknowledged doing something “against our religion” and laughed it off.
“Sex sells, babe,” Kirk says in the clip, an old audition tape for “The Amazing Race” filmed with her then-boyfriend, JT Massey.
Then comes the whisper: “Even though it’s against our religion.”
Massey, a minor league baseball player, doesn’t miss a beat. “It’s not within the confines of marriage,” he adds. Kirk giggles.
The timing has not been lost on the internet.
The Tape
The clip, filmed when Kirk and Massey were living together in Venice, California, shows the couple leaning into camera-ready banter. Kirk compliments Massey’s appearance. He returns the favor, then adjusts the neckline of his shirt.
“Babe, that’s deep in there,” Massey says. “Give them the cleavage. People want cleavage. Showcase it.”
“Sex sells, babe,” Kirk replies.
Then the whisper.
It’s not just that Kirk made a provocative comment. It’s that she acknowledged, in real time, that it contradicted her faith. And then kept going.
Not Her First Resurfaced Moment
The audition tape joins a growing collection of footage from Kirk’s past that has made the rounds since her husband Charlie Kirk’s assassination last September catapulted her into public life.
There’s the 2012 Emerson Drive music video where a 23-year-old Kirk — then Miss Arizona USA — ziplines across Las Vegas in denim cutoffs and a cropped top, a butterfly tattoo visible on her lower back.

There’s her 2019 appearance on Bravo’s “Summer House,” where she was set up on a date with cast member Jordan Verroi — footage that includes her socializing and drinking, a detail critics have noted given her recent comments about avoiding alcohol.
A resurfaced video is going viral showing Erika Kirk on Bravo’s reality show Summer House.
“She’s beautiful and she happens to be religious.”

And there’s the timeline question that won’t go away: Kirk told CBS in December that she didn’t date for five years before meeting Charlie in 2018. But a 2014 magazine article has her calling Massey her “incredible boyfriend.” Photos from a 2015 shoot with him have circulated online. And social media users have linked her to conservative media figure Cabot Phillips in 2017 — a man who now leads TPUSA events titled “How To Lead Like Charlie.”
“The math isn’t mathing,” TikTok creator Stephwithdadeets said in a viral video. “Why lie?”
The Internet Reacts
Critics didn’t hold back.
“Sex sells indeed. So does grifting!” wrote @MrChris89841522, sharing a clip that labeled Kirk “PROFESSIONAL WIDOW.”
“Erika ‘Sex Sells’ Kirk. She is so fake. People need to wake up,” wrote verified user @EricSpracklen. The post has been viewed over 13,000 times.

“She is playing her next role. She is a decepticon,” added @Sim2Mike.
One user kept it simple, flipping a familiar political phrase: “Burdened by what has been”
But defenders argued that transformation is the whole point.
“I don’t really understand why it’s a big deal that Erika found God and became a different person,” wrote @liberalsblo. “If you judged me by my past it would be super ugly but I grew up, had 3 great kids and live a nice life.”
“People can change,” wrote @AntiWokester80. “I was a total degenerate when I was young before finding my faith. Not saying that is or isn’t the case with her but that’s usually how it goes for almost everyone.”
Kirk’s Response
None, so far.
She previously told Fox News she doesn’t plan to make a habit of addressing criticism. “If myself or Charlie spent every single second responding to every accusation, responding to every insult, every judgment, we’d get nothing done.”
She added: “I’m not gonna ask God to remove those people from life. It just makes me stronger.”
The video continues to circulate.
