Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone is officially a mom.
People reported that the Olympic track star and her husband, former NFL player Andre Levrone Jr., welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Savannah Michelle Levrone, on July 12. NBC Sports reported that the couple announced Savannah’s arrival on social media Sunday.
The birth marks a new chapter for McLaughlin-Levrone after another historic stretch on the track and years of sharing major career milestones with Levrone by her side.

McLaughlin-Levrone and Levrone posted black-and-white family photos to mark the birth of their daughter. In the caption, they called Savannah their “blessing” and “joy,” adding that they were grateful for everyone who supported them through the pregnancy.
The couple also wrote that they were looking forward to seeing what God has in store for their little girl.
They Announced the Pregnancy Earlier This Year

McLaughlin-Levrone and Levrone first revealed in January that they were expecting their first baby. At the time, they shared beachside maternity photos and sonogram images while describing the baby as a long-prayed-for blessing.
The pregnancy announcement came after a major stretch in McLaughlin-Levrone’s career. NBC Sports noted that she last competed at the September 2025 World Championships, where she continued one of the most dominant runs in modern track and field.
McLaughlin-Levrone Has Built a Historic Track Career
McLaughlin-Levrone is best known as one of the greatest 400-meter hurdlers in history. World Athletics lists her as a four-time Olympic champion, five-time world champion and current world record holder in the 400-meter hurdles.
Her career has also included a move into the flat 400 meters. In 2025, she won the 400 meters at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo in 47.78 seconds, setting an American record and running the second-fastest women’s 400 meters of all time.
McLaughlin-Levrone and Levrone married in May 2022 at Early Mountain Vineyards in Virginia after getting engaged the previous year.
