Tallulah Willis and musician Justin Acee are married after exchanging vows in Sun Valley, Idaho, on August 8.
The 32-year-old writer, artist and advocate, who is the youngest daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, wore a custom Balenciaga gown designed by creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli. The dress required 712 hours of work before Willis walked down the aisle.
Willis and Acee had been together for more than three years before the ceremony. They began dating in January 2023 and announced their engagement in December 2024.
Just over a week before the wedding, Vogue joined Willis and her family for her final fitting at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, documenting how a wedding-dress search that once included Etsy options ended with one of Piccioli’s first bridal creations for Balenciaga.
The Balenciaga Gown Required 712 Hours of Work

Willis’ strapless column gown was made from silk satin backed with silk organza, with a draped train skirt and a large bow across the back. According to Vogue’s bridal feature, the gown required 712 hours of work, including 405 hours devoted to construction and atelier alterations.
The veil required another nine hours. Balenciaga artisans also created the hand embroidery, individually beading and applying the organza petals. Vogue said that process alone required approximately 60 hours.
Piccioli designed the gown specifically for Willis after becoming Balenciaga’s creative director. Vogue described it as one of his first bridal gowns in the role.
Demi Moore’s Balenciaga Dress Inspired the Neckline
Willis worked with Moore’s longtime stylist Brad Goreski to assemble references for the Balenciaga couture team before the design was finalized. One detail came directly from her mother’s wardrobe. The sculpted neckline was inspired by the black Balenciaga gown Moore wore to the 2026 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
Willis told Vogue that an earlier version of her wedding gown had a neckline that ran straight across. She instead wanted the more sculptural shape without adding a necklace.
Moore joined daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah for the final fitting at the Chateau Marmont. Scout joked during the fitting about Tallulah previously sending her possible wedding dresses from Etsy before the search ultimately led to Balenciaga couture.

Willis and Acee began dating in January 2023 and announced their engagement on December 23, 2024. Willis shared photographs from the proposal on Instagram, including a rose-petal pathway surrounded by candles and a close look at her engagement ring. She captioned the post simply, “everyday @justinacee.”
Acee previously played drums for Made Violent and now releases music under the name NIGHTIES. People reported that Rumer and Scout publicly celebrated the engagement, while Emma Heming Willis also responded to the announcement.
The Couple Obtained Their Marriage License Before the Wedding
Ahead of the ceremony, Scout shared a photograph of Willis and Acee obtaining their marriage license at the Blaine County Courthouse in Hailey, Idaho. Willis wore a red polka-dot halter dress in the photograph, while Acee held up the marriage license.
Scout described the couple as “my angels” in her Instagram Stories. The license preceded their August 8 ceremony in nearby Sun Valley. People said representatives for Willis, Acee, Bruce Willis and Moore did not immediately respond to requests for additional comment about the wedding.
