Tavia Hunt is pushing back after negative claims about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding began circulating online.
PEOPLE reported that Hunt, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs chairman and CEO Clark Hunt, responded after a report claimed the July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden was chaotic, had long food lines and ran out of champagne.
Hunt, who attended the wedding with her family, called that version of events a “false narrative.”

The pushback came after podcast host and digital creator Zack Peter discussed the report in an Instagram Reel. Hunt appeared in the comments and disputed the details directly.
According to PEOPLE, Hunt said the wedding did not run out of champagne, did not have long lines and had seats for every guest during the ceremony.
Page Six also reported that Hunt objected to claims that the event had major shortages or seating problems, calling the reporting hearsay rather than truth.
PEOPLE reported that she described Swift and Kelce’s vows as spectacular, beautiful, heartfelt and “absolutely perfect.” She also said the wedding could not have been a more fabulous experience.

PEOPLE previously reported that Clark and Tavia Hunt attended with two of their children, Knobel and Gracie.
Tavia shared photos from New York after the ceremony, showing the family in black-tie looks. She wore a yellow and orange floral Carolina Herrera gown, while Clark wore a classic black tuxedo. Knobel matched his father in a tuxedo, and Gracie wore a turquoise beaded Cavalli gown.
PEOPLE reported that the wedding had a whimsical secret garden theme and included guest-focused touches such as games, raffles and multiple things for attendees to do.
