Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly followed their Madison Square Garden wedding with a short trip to Montana.

Daily Mail reported that the newlyweds spent several days at the Yellowstone Club in Big Sky after their July 3 wedding in New York City. The members-only Montana retreat is known for privacy, mountain views and restricted access.

Entertainment Weekly said Swift and Kelce were reportedly spotted in Montana with Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce before later arriving in Southern California.

The trip was described as a short “mini-moon” rather than a long honeymoon. Kelce has Chiefs commitments later in July, and the couple was also expected in California for the wedding of his former Kansas City teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster.

The Yellowstone Club is located in Big Sky, Montana, and has long been associated with wealthy and high-profile visitors. InStyle described it as an ultra-luxury private resort with skiing, golf and other outdoor activities.

Montana is a familiar territory for the couple. InStyle noted that Swift and Kelce reportedly spent the previous Fourth of July at the same club, after Swift skipped her usual Rhode Island holiday gathering.

The Couple Was Later Spotted in California

Swift and Kelce were photographed arriving at Bob Hope International Airport in Burbank on July 9. InStyle said the couple stepped off a private jet under several black umbrellas before getting into a waiting convoy of vehicles.

Entertainment Weekly also covered the California arrival and said the couple was allegedly returning from the Montana trip.

Their California arrival came ahead of another wedding weekend. Swift and Kelce were expected to attend JuJu Smith-Schuster and Laura Kruk’s wedding in Orange County, according to reports cited by Entertainment Weekly.

The Honeymoon Was Limited by Kelce’s NFL Schedule

Kelce’s football calendar leaves only a short window between the wedding and training camp. Arrowhead Pride reported that the Chiefs’ full-team practices begin the final week of July at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Missouri.

InStyle said Kelce is due to report to mandatory summer training camp on July 28 for his 14th season with the Kansas City Chiefs. Public practices begin shortly after that, with the first open dates set for July 29 and July 30.

ELLE previously reported that Swift and Kelce were not expected to take a big honeymoon immediately after the wedding because of their California plans and Kelce’s approaching return to football.

Montana Had Already Been Part of Their Travel History

Swift and Kelce have kept several trips private during their relationship, with details emerging only after they left. ELLE noted that previous trips later became public through photos or reports, including vacations in the Bahamas, Italy and Montana.

The latest Montana report followed a wedding week that kept the couple under intense attention in New York. Their Madison Square Garden ceremony drew around 1,000 guests, including family, athletes, actors and music stars.

Jason and Kylie Kelce later spoke briefly about the wedding while in Lake Tahoe. Entertainment Weekly cited reports that Jason called the celebration “great,” while Kylie described it as “incredible.”

A Bigger Honeymoon Has Not Been Announced

Reports have differed on whether the Montana stay was the couple’s only post-wedding trip or the first stop before a longer honeymoon later. InStyle said it remains unclear whether Swift and Kelce are planning a larger trip at another point.

Swift and Kelce have not issued a statement about their honeymoon plans. Since the wedding, most details have come from airport photos, guest comments and outlets citing sources close to the couple.
