Jason Sudeikis has finally been reunited with mail that continued arriving at his former New York City apartment, thanks to the woman who now lives there and a social-media campaign that eventually reached his team.
Taylor Palmby moved into the apartment in May 2025 and began receiving deliveries addressed to the Ted Lasso star about a month later. Instead of throwing them away, she held onto them while trying to figure out how to get them back to him.
After collecting about five deliveries over the course of a year, Palmby turned to social media for help. Her request traveled far enough that members of Sudeikis’ publicity team contacted her.
The search ended on August 4th, when Palmby attended the New York premiere of Ted Lasso Season 4 and personally handed the mail to Sudeikis at the after-party.
The Mail Revealed Who Previously Lived in Her Apartment
According to Entertainment Weekly, Palmby initially had trouble believing that the Jason Sudeikis listed on the deliveries was actually the actor. She told PEOPLE that the mail included correspondence from the Writers Guild of America and Producers Guild of America, along with “For Your Consideration” television and movie screeners.
After searching the name and address online, Palmby found information connecting Sudeikis to the apartment. “Oh, my God, I think that I’m living in Jason Sudeikis’ old apartment,” she recalled thinking.
As more deliveries arrived, Palmby began saving them. “I don’t know why, but I was like, ‘It has become my job now to get this mail to Jason Sudeikis,’” she told PEOPLE.
Her Social-Media Request Quickly Reached His Team

Palmby eventually decided that the internet might be the fastest route to Sudeikis. In her viral video, she addressed him directly while showing the deliveries she had accumulated and asked viewers to help connect them. “You can reach out to me, or this is creepier, you know where I live?” Palmby joked, referring to the fact that the packages were still being sent to his former address.
The response was much larger than she expected. “The amount of people that know Jason Sudeikis is amazing,” Palmby told PEOPLE. She said her direct messages quickly filled with people claiming some personal or professional connection to the actor.
“It was like six degrees of Kevin Bacon, but one degree of Jason Sudeikis,” she said. Members of Sudeikis’ team at The Agency Group PR eventually saw the video and invited Palmby and a guest to the August 4th Ted Lasso Season 4 premiere at the BAM Harvey Theater in Brooklyn, as well as the Apple TV after-party.
Palmby Delivered Five Pieces of Mail at the Premiere

Palmby attended with her best friend, Olivia Saleh, and brought the five deliveries she had collected over the previous year. At the after-party, she finally met Sudeikis and handed everything over. Sudeikis told her that roughly 20 people had sent him her original video.
He also revealed why he had not immediately recognized his former apartment when he saw it online. “They must have redone it or something,” Sudeikis said. According to Entertainment Weekly, parts of the apartment had indeed been renovated since he lived there, including changes involving an interior brick surface.
“If I keep getting your mail, I’ll pass it along,” Palmby told him. Sudeikis thanked her before giving her a hug, and the pair posed for photographs with Saleh.
