Taylor Swift has returned to the spotlight with a noticeably different look, stepping out in London for her first solo outing since marrying Travis Kelce last month.
The 36-year-old singer was photographed leaving Annabel’s private members’ club late on Aug. 12 after spending the evening with a friend. She wore a lavender floral minidress, heels and her signature red lipstick, with her engagement ring visible as she left the Mayfair venue.
Her biggest change was above the shoulders. ELLE noted that Swift had cut her previously long hair to around shoulder length while keeping the blunt bangs that have been part of her look for years.
The London sighting came one day after Kelce spoke publicly about their July 3 wedding for the first time. The Annabel’s outing was her first reported solo public appearance since becoming Mrs. Kelce.
Swift Debuted a Dramatically Shorter Hairstyle

Swift’s shoulder-length cut is a substantial change from the longer hairstyle she wore throughout the first half of 2026. Photographs from London showed her hair worn sleek and straight, ending around her shoulders while leaving her familiar bangs intact. Page Six described the fresh cut as noticeably shorter than her recent looks.
For the night out, Swift wore a lilac Delphine minidress decorated with metallic floral details. She paired the dress with a crystal-covered Christian Louboutin evening bag, embellished Aquazzura heels and her signature red lip. She was photographed leaving Annabel’s around midnight. PEOPLE also reported that her engagement ring was on display as she exited the private club.
It Was Her First Solo Outing, Not Her First Appearance Since the Wedding
Swift had kept a relatively low profile since marrying Kelce, but the London photos were not actually the first time she had been seen publicly after the ceremony.
On July 10, exactly one week after their own wedding, Swift and Kelce attended former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster’s wedding to Laura Kruk at the Ritz-Carlton in Laguna Niguel, California.
PEOPLE published photographs of the newlyweds holding hands on their way to the ceremony. Swift wore a strapless pink floral brocade gown by Markarian, while Kelce wore a charcoal suit. That makes the Aug. 12 London appearance more precisely Swift’s first reported solo outing since her marriage.
Kelce Called the Wedding the ‘Best Night of My Life’
While Swift was preparing for her London night out, Kelce was back with the Chiefs and talking publicly about the wedding for the first time. “It was a fun offseason, man,” he told reporters during an Aug. 12 training-camp press conference. “Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us.”
Kelce called it a “crazy night” that was “full of a lot of celebration” before shifting his focus back to football. The couple married July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Swift’s publicist confirmed the marriage, and the ceremony brought approximately 1,000 guests to the arena.
Kelce also explained why getting married inside Madison Square Garden carried particular significance for him. He said he had always wanted to attend a Knicks playoff game at the arena and described finally being inside the venue for his own wedding as fulfilling a childhood ambition.
“It’s kind of cool to live out my childhood dream to be in that venue,” Kelce said, calling Madison Square Garden “the mecca of all sports venues.” He thanked the arena’s owners for accommodating the couple’s desire for a private event before joking about another benefit of holding a July wedding indoors. “The AC was cookin’ baby,” Kelce said. “That was the best part.”
Kelce Has Shifted His Attention Back to Football
The wedding questions came during a press conference otherwise focused heavily on Kelce’s 14th NFL season. The 36-year-old said he still believes he can compete at a high level and wants to improve on his performance from last season. “I still got a lot of love for this game,” he said. “I still think I can go out and play at a high level.”
The Associated Press reported that Kelce continues to describe Chiefs training camp in St. Joseph, Missouri, as his “sanctuary,” emphasizing the importance of spending extended time practicing, living and building chemistry with his teammates.
