Taylor Swift’s wedding had Dior couture, celebrity guests, NFL stars and one very relatable fashion mishap: two guests arrived in the same dress.
Swift’s longtime best friend Abigail Anderson and Laura Kruk, the fiancée of NFL wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, were both spotted heading to Madison Square Garden on July 3 in the same Sau Lee gown. Page Six reported that both women wore the brand’s $795 Frances gown.
The strapless dress features a corset-style bodice and a brown silk skirt with a magnolia print.
Vogue reported that Swift wore a custom Dior couture gown by Jonathan Anderson, while Kelce also wore Dior. They got married at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3.
The Matching Dresses Appeared to Be Accidental

Page Six reported that Anderson and Kruk were photographed leaving the Ritz-Carlton NoMad on Friday morning before heading to the wedding. Both were dressed in the same Sau Lee gown, but they styled it differently.
Anderson paired the dress with lucite platform heels and a Cult Gaia clutch, according to Page Six. Just Jared reported that she wore chunky transparent platform heels.
Kruk wore the same gown while walking with Smith-Schuster. Page Six noted that she added a mint green Lady Dior bag, giving the look a different accessory point even though the dress was identical.
The Moment Sparked Bridesmaid Questions
The duplicate gowns made some fans wonder whether the matching dresses were connected to a bridal-party look. That theory became less likely once more details about Swift and Kelce’s wedding party were reported.
PEOPLE reported that Swift did not have traditional bridesmaids at the ceremony. Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as her man of honor.
Kelce also kept his side of the wedding party inside the family. His brother Jason Kelce served as best man, according to PEOPLE.
Anderson Has Been Part of Swift’s Life Since High School
Anderson’s outfit drew extra attention because she is one of Swift’s most recognizable longtime friends. The two became close as teenagers in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and Swift later referenced Anderson in her 2008 song “Fifteen.”
“You sit in class next to a redhead named Abigail / And soon enough, you’re best friends,” Swift sings on the track.
Kruk Connected the Moment to Kelce’s NFL Side
Kruk attended the wedding with Smith-Schuster, one of the NFL figures connected to Kelce’s side of the celebration. Just Jared reported that Swift and Kelce are also expected to attend Kruk and Smith-Schuster’s own wedding on July 11 at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel in Orange County, California.
Page Six reported that the larger Madison Square Garden celebration included about 1,000 guests. The couple’s wedding-party setup stayed small despite the size of the event.
