The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler, who was described in the publicist’s statement as a friend of the couple. Reuters reported that Austin Swift served as Taylor’s man of honor, while Jason Kelce was Travis’ best man.
The newer inside reports added stranger and more personal pieces from the ceremony and reception, including an original Sandler song, flower-girl duties for Jason and Kylie Kelce’s daughters, and a toast from Lena Dunham that reportedly got both gasps and laughs.
Adam Sandler Reportedly Sang an Original Song While Officiating
TMZ reported that Sandler did more than guide the couple through the ceremony. Sources told the outlet that the actor and comedian wrote and sang an original song for Swift and Kelce while officiating.
The song was described as humorous but touching, and centered on the couple’s relationship. Sandler’s role already made the ceremony feel unexpected; the original song turned his appearance into one of the night’s most specific reported moments.
Kelce appeared in Sandler’s 2025 movie Happy Gilmore 2, and Sandler has previously spoken warmly about both Kelce and Swift.

TMZ reported that the ceremony took place inside Madison Square Garden on a level above the arena floor, with live string music playing during the service.
According to the outlet, Jason and Kylie Kelce’s daughters served as flower girls and threw petals as Swift walked down the aisle. TMZ also reported that Swift walked to one of her own songs arranged for strings.
Reuters reported that Swift and Kelce wore Christian Dior looks for the wedding, with Swift also wearing Cartier jewelry.
Andrea Swift Reportedly Sent Guests to the Arena Floor
After the ceremony, Andrea Swift reportedly helped move guests into the reception. TMZ reported that Swift’s mother invited the crowd downstairs for the main party on the Madison Square Garden floor.
The reception space reportedly had a fantasy-garden feel. TMZ described the decor as a mix of Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz, matching earlier reports about a greenhouse-style structure and garden setup inside the venue.
TMZ also reported that Zero Bond catered the party and that guests were entertained with carnival-style games. The details fit the scale of the MSG event, which Reuters said drew more than 1,000 people to the arena.
Lena Dunham’s Toast Reportedly Drew Gasps and Laughs
One of the more talked-about reception moments came from Dunham. Entertainment Weekly, citing the Daily Mail, reported that Dunham gave a speech at the reception and made an off-color joke comparing American football to “straight guys reenacting gay porn.”
