Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding speculation has shifted back to Rhode Island after new activity was reported at Swift’s Watch Hill mansion.
TMZ reported that Swift’s Rhode Island home was active Wednesday night, with lights on across the property, visible security and people seen near the mansion.
Page Six also reported that guests had gathered at the estate amid the couple’s ongoing wedding rumors.
The new Rhode Island attention comes as separate reports continue to point to a large July 3 celebration at Madison Square Garden in New York. Swift and Kelce have not publicly confirmed a wedding date, venue or ceremony location.

TMZ reported that an eyewitness said Swift’s mansion was lit up around 8 p.m., which the person described as unusual for the property. The outlet also reported that a security detail was seen near the driveway and that an armed guard stood by the gate as an SUV with tinted windows left the estate.
The same report said two armed guards with binoculars were watching the beach area. TMZ also published footage showing a woman who appeared to be Swift’s longtime friend Abigail Anderson Berard on a balcony with a small child.
A separate video shared online appeared to show four women on a rooftop balcony, three wearing black robes and one blonde woman wearing white. Page Six reported that the footage led to speculation about a possible bachelorette party or private pre-wedding gathering.
The Footage Does Not Confirm a Ceremony
The videos and photos show activity at Swift’s property, added security and guests on the estate, while the reason for the gathering has not been confirmed.
Swift and Kelce have kept their reported wedding plans private, and no representative for either has publicly confirmed that a ceremony took place in Rhode Island. Us Weekly reported that it reached out to Swift’s representative for comment after the security and balcony footage circulated.
The Rhode Island activity also drew criticism from fans who objected to footage being taken of Swift’s home and people on the property. That became part of the online discussion as the wedding speculation spread.
TMZ Also Reported a Canceled Rhode Island Celebration
In a separate update, TMZ reported that an earlier Rhode Island celebration had been planned for June 13 at Ocean House before being canceled and moved to New York. The outlet said a fireworks company had been told in mid-May that the event was off.
TMZ reported that the couple changed plans after word got out about the Rhode Island venue. The same report said Madison Square Garden is now expected to host a large July 3 event for family and friends, while the actual ceremony may happen somewhere more intimate.
June 13 had already been tied to earlier Rhode Island rumors because of Swift’s long-known connection to the number 13. Those reports cooled after Swift and Kelce were seen in New York that weekend instead of at a public Rhode Island wedding event.
The Madison Square Garden Theory Is Still Report-Based

Vanity Fair recently examined the Madison Square Garden theory, noting the venue’s calendar gap around the July 3 weekend, its security setup, central location and ability to handle a large guest list.
TMZ previously reported that between 1,100 and 1,200 people were expected at MSG for the couple’s reported July 3 event. The outlet also reported that the venue offers privacy advantages because it has no windows looking into the main event space and has underground access for arrivals.
Vanity Fair reported that representatives for Swift, MSG, the NYPD and the New York mayor’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Neither Swift nor Kelce has announced whether MSG is hosting a wedding, a reception-style celebration or nothing at all.
