Taylor Swift’s Wedding Bouquet Stayed in the Chiefs Family After Trey Smith’s Sister Caught It

Taylor Swift’s wedding bouquet did not go far from the Kansas City Chiefs family.

PEOPLE reported that Ashley Smith, the older sister of Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith, caught Swift’s bouquet.

Ashley shared the moment on Instagram with photos from the event, including shots of herself holding the pale pink bouquet.

PEOPLE reported that Trey Smith brought Ashley as his plus-one to the wedding, where several Chiefs players were among the guests. After the bouquet toss, Ashley revealed on Instagram that she had ended up with Swift’s flowers.

“Celebrated an Enchanting Love S(T&T)ory,” Ashley wrote, according to PEOPLE, before adding that she somehow caught “Tay Tay’s bouquet.” She also wrote that she hoped the flowers would bring a lifetime of “love, luck, and laughter” her way.

The Bouquet Featured Sweet Pea and Queen Anne’s Lace

Ashley shared photos of the bouquet, which appeared to include pale pink flowers, Sweet Pea and Queen Anne’s Lace.

The floral choices fit the romantic tone of the wedding. PEOPLE noted that Sweet Pea is associated with beauty and joy, while Queen Anne’s Lace has been linked to sanctuary and protection in a marital relationship.

Page Six reported that Ashley’s photos gave one of the first close looks at the wedding florals, with the bouquet shown in her Instagram carousel after the Madison Square Garden celebration.

Ashley’s Post Included a Blank Space Keepsake

PEOPLE reported that her Instagram carousel also included a custom lace-edged napkin from the wedding.

The napkin featured the Blank Space lyric “So it’s gonna be forever,” along with the date and location of the wedding and the couple’s intertwined “T” monogram.

Trey Smith Brought His Sister as His Plus-One

Trey Smith is one of Kelce’s teammates, and PEOPLE reported that he attended the wedding with Ashley as his guest.

CBS News reported that Ashley runs the NFL’s player engagement program, which supports players in their personal and professional growth.

CBS News also described Trey and Ashley as the only brother-sister duo currently working in the NFL, with Trey on the field for Kansas City and Ashley working behind the scenes at the league office.
