Tessa Thompson appeared to be enjoying a peaceful solo vacation in Sardinia, but photographs taken the following day showed that her boyfriend, Brandon Green, had also joined her in Italy.
The actress was photographed alone near the water on July 29. She spent time near the water and appeared comfortable enjoying the quiet outing by herself.
Lainey Gossip’s initial report observed that Thompson looked content in her own company while acknowledging that the images could represent a solo day rather than an entire trip taken alone.

Thompson and Green Left Sardinia Together
Photographs taken one day later showed Thompson and Green passing through airport security before boarding a private aircraft. According to Just Jared’s report, the couple had completed an Italian getaway and departed Sardinia together on July 30.
They were transported to the aircraft in a van before walking toward the plane. Thompson carried a food container as she boarded, while Green remained beside her throughout the departure process.
The Couple Has Been Linked Since 2024

Thompson and Green were first publicly linked in March 2024 after they were photographed sitting courtside together at a basketball game in Los Angeles. Several months later, they were seen displaying affection while vacationing with friends aboard a yacht off the Italian coast.
The supplied Instagram post from July 2024 documented that earlier yacht trip and identified Green as Thompson’s new boyfriend at the time. They were photographed together again during an August 2024 outing in Paris.
In July 2025, the couple appeared in a group portrait taken aboard the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection’s Luminara during a trip from Italy to Malta. Photographer JR captured Thompson and Green sharing a kiss in a bathtub for the playful group image posted by Colman Domingo.
Green Joined Thompson at the 2026 Golden Globes
The couple brought their relationship to a major awards-season event when Green accompanied Thompson to the Golden Globe Awards on January 11.
Photographs from the ceremony showed them posing together at the Beverly Hilton, with Thompson wearing a metallic green Balenciaga gown and Green dressed in black.
Thompson attended as a nominee for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for her leading role in Nia DaCosta’s Hedda.
