“The Same Person That Abused You Abused Me”: Stefon Diggs’ Former Chef Turns to Cardi B

On Saturday, Stefon Diggs kissed Cardi B on the cheek at a Mother’s Day charity event in front of cameras and a room full of mothers. They posed for photos together. They greeted every attendee. They looked, by every visible measure, like two people finding their way back to each other after a difficult season. The two share a son born last November and had split in February, but the public appearance fueled immediate reunion speculation.

Within hours, Mila Adams posted a video.

Adams is the former personal chef who accused Diggs of slapping and choking her at his Dedham, Massachusetts, home in December. A jury acquitted him on May 5 after roughly 90 minutes of deliberation. That case is legally closed. The video Adams posted is not about that case.

In it, she speaks directly to Cardi B. Not about herself. About Cardi.

“You Know the Night I’m Talking About”

Adams describes what she says Diggs did to Cardi while Cardi was carrying their child. She references the pregnancy, the delivery room, the period after the baby was born. She names no dates. She offers no documentation. She speaks as someone who was in the household and says she saw what happened.

She claims people in Diggs’ inner circle defended him publicly while knowing how he treated Cardi privately. She claims text messages show how Diggs belittled Cardi during that time. Then she arrives at a specific night and stops.

“You know the night that I’m talking about,” Adams says. “That night, it happened to you? That’s not my story to tell.”

She closes with a brief apology to Cardi and a single sentence aimed at Diggs. “I hope one day you face the music.” Then she adds five words: “That’s all I have to say about that.”

The video has been viewed more than 431,000 times.

The Chef Who Lived in the House

Adams moved into Diggs’ home in July 2025 as his private chef at $2,000 a week. She testified in court that her relationship with Diggs became sexual while he was publicly dating Cardi B. Cardi announced her pregnancy on CBS Mornings in September 2025. Their son was born in November. The alleged assault on Adams took place on December 2, less than a month later.

During the trial, the defense showed videos of Adams dancing after the alleged attack, pointed to the absence of medical records or injury photos and argued that her accusations grew out of a pay dispute. Adams testified that she didn’t document her injuries because she was in shock that someone she loved would hurt her. She told the court she held back details in her police report because Diggs was in a very public relationship with Cardi B and she was afraid of how the public would receive her.

She also told the court, unprompted, that Diggs had offered $100,000 through a representative for her to recant under a nondisclosure agreement. The judge ordered the jury to disregard it and warned Adams her testimony could be stricken.

None of that mattered to the jury. Not guilty on both counts.

What Cardi Said in January

When the charges first surfaced, Cardi B did not stay quiet. She posted on social media that Adams had never once mentioned being touched. She shared a text she said proved the chef was lying. She told critics she wanted apologies on their knees once the courts handled it.

The courts handled it. Diggs walked. And on Saturday, there was Cardi beside him, at a Mother’s Day event named after his foundation, while their infant son existed somewhere in the background of all of it.

Twenty-four hours later, Adams sat in front of a camera and told Cardi that the man she just kissed on the cheek did the same things to her. During the pregnancy. During the delivery. After the baby came home.

No Evidence. No Denial

Adams’ claims about Diggs’ treatment of Cardi are unverified. No police report, court record or independent witness supports what she describes in the video. Diggs has not responded. His legal team has maintained throughout that Adams’ allegations are rooted in a financial dispute, not physical violence.

Cardi B has not said a word.

In January, she had plenty of them.
