Tom Sandoval’s breakup with Victoria Lee Robinson has moved into a legal fight involving competing restraining order requests, an arrest, and video from a June 3 confrontation at a Los Angeles rental home.

J. Will Robinson, Victoria’s father, filed a request for a civil harassment restraining order against the former Vanderpump Rules star on June 26. People reported that Will filed the request after video surfaced that appeared to show Sandoval pushing him into a lit fire pit during the June 3 altercation.

TMZ reported that Will’s request for a temporary restraining order was denied until a hearing because the court said it needed more information before issuing an order.

Sandoval had already obtained a temporary restraining order against Victoria and Will one day earlier, after accusing both of attacking him during the same incident.

Will Robinson Claims Sandoval Pushed Him Into a Fire Pit

In court documents obtained by People, Will claimed Sandoval “overpowered” Victoria during the June 3 confrontation and then pushed him into a “stone-lava rock” fire pit.

Will alleged that he suffered a ruptured disc, a broken thumb and elbow, and a heel laceration. He also claimed Sandoval went back inside the home and started talking about having a gun.

TMZ reported that Will’s filing also asked the court to make sure he and Victoria could retrieve four cats from the home. The outlet said Will wanted Sandoval ordered to stay 100 yards away from him and Victoria.

Sandoval Has His Own Temporary Restraining Order

Sandoval requested a domestic violence restraining order against Victoria on June 25. The Los Angeles Times reported that he was granted a temporary restraining order against Victoria and Will, with a hearing set for July 16.

According to court documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times, Sandoval alleged that Victoria punched him in the face during the June 3 incident and injured his neck and ear.

Sandoval also alleged that Will grabbed him and punched a hole in a bedroom door while Sandoval was barricading himself inside. The filing claimed Sandoval had been staying in hotels and with friends after the incident while Victoria and Will remained in the rental home.

Video Shows Only Part of the Confrontation

People reported that the video shows Sandoval asking Victoria whether she was recording him and then appearing to try to take her phone. Will then intervenes and pulls Sandoval away by the waist.

The footage shows Sandoval pushing Will, who falls backward over the lit fire pit. People reported that Will then gets up and follows Sandoval inside, while Victoria can be heard yelling for the men to stop.

TMZ reported that a source familiar with Sandoval’s side said the video was being taken out of context and that Sandoval had additional evidence to present in court. The source claimed Sandoval had endured months of physical and psychological abuse and had never physically harmed Victoria.

Victoria Robinson Was Arrested After the June 3 Incident

Victoria was arrested on June 3 on a charge of intimate partner battery with physical violence, according to People. The Los Angeles Times reported that she bonded out and was released the same day.

The Los Angeles Times also reported that the Los Angeles Police Department could not confirm the reason for Victoria’s arrest when contacted by the outlet.

Will told TMZ that he lifted Sandoval away from Victoria because he believed Sandoval was overpowering her, twisting her arm, and trying to take her phone. He also said he wanted Sandoval away from the home.

The Restraining Order Fight Continues in July

Sandoval and Victoria began dating publicly in early 2024. People reported that Sandoval described her as his ex-girlfriend in the new court filings.

The next hearing on the restraining order issues is scheduled for July 16. Representatives for Sandoval and Victoria did not immediately respond to People’s request for comment.
