Alexandra Daddario appears to have joined Brett Goldstein in Escorted, Prime Video’s upcoming romantic comedy about a divorced Manhattan father who unexpectedly becomes a male escort.
The actors were photographed filming together in downtown New York City over the weekend. Images from the set showed them standing close during a scene that appeared romantic, although its place within the eight-episode story remains unknown.
Goldstein stars as Denny and serves as a writer, executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Brian Gallivan. Lesley Manville is the only other principal cast member Prime Video has officially identified.
Daddario received an Emmy nomination for playing Rachel Patton in the first season of The White Lotus. Her recent television work also includes the AMC supernatural drama Mayfair Witches.

Set photographs published by Just Jared on July 28 showed Daddario and Goldstein working on location in downtown Manhattan. The actors appeared close during the sequence, prompting speculation that Daddario may be playing a romantic interest.
Neither Daddario nor Prime Video had commented publicly on the photographs when the report appeared. Daddario’s role, character name and number of episodes therefore remain undisclosed.
Goldstein Plays a Divorced Father Who Becomes an Escort

Prime Video officially ordered Escorted to series in May. The half-hour, single-camera comedy follows Denny, a divorced Manhattan father who accidentally begins working as a male escort.
The story will explore co-parenting, sexual dynamics, secrecy and whether genuine emotional intimacy can be purchased. Prime Video has ordered eight episodes.
Goldstein created the series with Gallivan, one of his collaborators on the Apple TV comedy Shrinking. Both will serve as co-showrunners, writers and executive producers.
The project is produced by Warner Bros. Television, where Goldstein and executive producer Bill Lawrence have overall deals, in association with Amazon MGM Studios.
Manville will portray Terri, Denny’s mother and a former cabaret performer described as a powerful personality with a voice to match. Her casting indicates that Denny’s family will remain important as he attempts to balance fatherhood, divorce and the secret surrounding his new occupation.
