Audrina Patridge has been single for longer than fans realized.
The Hills alum confirmed that she and country singer Michael Ray ended their relationship after two years together. Patridge told PEOPLE that she has been single since July.
Patridge did not say what led to the breakup, but she is beginning to consider dating again. For now, she would prefer meeting someone naturally through friends or in person rather than looking for a relationship online.
The split came only a few months after Patridge openly discussed the possibility of marrying Ray. In May, she said their previous divorces had helped them understand what they wanted from another serious relationship.
Patridge Is Figuring Out Dating Again
Patridge shared the update while attending medicube’s Wellness Club X2 pop-up in Los Angeles on Sept. 24. “I’m starting to figure that out all over again,” she said about returning to the dating world.
She said a mutual friend or an introduction in person would appeal to her more than searching for someone online. “I’m not a big internet person,” Patridge said.
She is also still working out exactly what she wants in a partner. Patridge pointed to a good heart, family background, morals and shared values, explaining that conflicting values can lead to very different lifestyles. She identified love bombing as her biggest red flag.
Marriage remains a possibility, but Patridge said it would have to be with someone whose heart and lifestyle align with hers.

Patridge gave a much different relationship update in May. She told Us Weekly that she was “open to” getting engaged again and believed her and Ray’s previous marriages had given them a clearer understanding of what they wanted and what they should avoid.
At the time, Patridge said they loved each other and were taking the relationship slowly. Their time together was often private, with the couple staying home or cooking dinner instead of making every visit a public event.
Patridge lived in California with her daughter while Ray was based in North Carolina, so the two regularly flew across the country to spend time together. She also recalled surprising him for his 38th birthday by traveling to Georgia.
Patridge described meeting Ray as unexpected because she had been content focusing on herself and her daughter. She said they immediately connected, calling him her best friend and saying they were “inseparable.”
Their Romance Became Public in Summer 2024
Patridge and Ray first sparked dating speculation in April 2024 after fans noticed Ray interacting with her Instagram posts, including photos from Stagecoach. In late June, Patridge shared an Instagram Story showing the pair kissing.
They made the relationship Instagram official in July. PEOPLE documented Patridge’s July 9 post, which showed the couple embracing at night while she quoted lyrics from Ray’s song “Hold.”
Ray responded in the comments that he was grateful for Patridge and her daughter, Kirra. Both later shared the post to their Instagram Stories.
Patridge had previously been married to Corey Bohan, with whom she shares Kirra. Ray was married to fellow country singer Carly Pearce before their divorce in 2020.
